The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

In the early 1960s, the Nobel Prize winner Heinrich Böll was already seeking relaxation in the former Jesuit college of Erfurt-Hochheim. Here you will find our apartment "Zur Engelsherberge" on the upper floor. It is a 90 m² duplex apartment tastefully furnished for four people in a designer style and has a comfortably furnished kitchen, a spacious bathroom with separate shower and a large, sunny living room, as well as a bedroom (2 people) and a sleeping gallery with a bed.

The apartment is on the ground floor and can accommodate 2 people. The bathroom is equipped with a large, bidet shower, infrared cabin and underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The washer-dryer is also integrated in this. The high ceilings and large windows give a great sense of space, which is underlined by modern LED lamps. Dim the rooms or set their light temperature as desired.

The apartment is located on the first floor in an old storage building of the former horticultural company Benary. The vaulted cellar as the foundation of the house was built at the end of the 16th century. The half-timbered house above it was rebuilt around 1850 and completely renovated in recent years. All interior walls of the outer shell of the house are worked with clay plaster and thus ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

Our vacation home is centrally located and yet surrounded by greenery. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. One free parking space is available right by the house.
