Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Haguenau

Es waren ruhige Tage in einer schönen, weniger touristischen Gegend - vielen Dank!

We hebben een heerlijke eindejaarsvakantie doorgebracht in het huisje van Janine. Het was perfect om er even tussenuit te zijn en veel tijd door te brengen met onze kinderen in een heel mooie rustige omgeving. Het huisje is heel goed in orde. We hebben niets gemist. Er is alles wat je nodig hebt en de bedden zijn aangenaam. De kachel maakte het extra gezellig in deze koude kerstvakantie. De kinderen vonden hun prive-zolderkamertje met luikje de max! Alle informatie was duidelijk en de communicatie met Janine was altijd vlot, hartelijk en to-the-point. Het huisje is ook een heel goede uitvalsbasis voor prachtige wandelingen en uitstapjes in de streek (naar de kastelen in de buurt, bezoekje Straatsburg, kerstmarkt van Haguenau, etc). Een aanrader! Logement au top, je recommande. Encore merci Wolfgang. Si je peux juste apporter une amélioration, il manque de rangement pour nos affaires dans 3 chambres du logement.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Veronique's beautiful place. It was a great house for a weekend with seven friends, with lots of open space (kitchen & living room), a great view of the forest, very clean and useful utilities and spacious rooms to stay. I can only highly recommend this place!

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans ce logement. Le chalet est décoré avec goût et spacieux, la cheminée est super pour la météo capricieuse du mois d’avril, et le terrain est immense et très bien entretenu. Nous avons pu rejoindre des sentiers de balades à pieds ce qui est un vrai plus. L’accueil que nous avons eu était génial, les hôtes sont d’une extrême gentillesse. Merci pour tout!

Das Haus von Thierry ist ein Juwel inmitten eines großen Gartens am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes. Es ist sehr ruhig und grün. Das Haus hat sehr, sehr viel Platz mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten wie einen großen Pool, Sauna, einen Kicker, einen Billardtisch und einen Indoor-Steinofen fürs Pizza backen (es gibt Anleitungen in verschiedenen Sprachen). Thierry war sehr schnell erreichbar für eventuelle Rückfragen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Eric était un super hôte, très arrangeant et soucieux de nous faire passer un bon séjour. La maison était vraiment au niveau de nos attentes 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Haus Sonnenhang. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt, alles war ganz unkompliziert, im Haus fehlte es an absolut nichts und der Garten war ganz bezaubernd. Gerade für einen Urlaub mit Hund können wir es sehr empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank!

Wir haben mit 2 Kindern ein wunderbares Wochenende bei Stéphane verbracht. Die Wohnung und die Lage sind toll.

Logement très agréable, propre et bien situé. Jackie et sont mari sont très accueillants et sympathiques.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Michel est très accueillant, arrangeant, et nous nous sommes sentis à la maison tout de suite. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les viennoiseries et la baguette déposés à notre porte chaque matin, les choses essentielles pour le petit-déjeuner dans le frigo (beurre, lait, jus de pomme, autres boissons et même de la confiture maison!), et juste la gentillesse de Michel. Il m’a même aidé avec ma valise pour monter et descendre les escaliers ☺️. L’appartement lui-même est très mignon et confortable. Il est grand et il y faisait frais malgré qu’il ait fait plus chaud que normal pour le mois d’avril, ce qui était top! Son emplacement est idéal, dans une rue calme mais près de tout (restaurants, cafés etc). Je dirais que le seul inconvénient est vraiment minime: régler la température de l’eau de la douche prend un peu de temps. Elle passe vite du chaud au froid quand on essaie de la régler alors il faut y aller doucement. Nous recommandons fortement!!

This was our second stay at Silvia's little apartment. As before we appreciated the beautiful garden, the calmness and how well organised the place is. The kitchen despite being small has everything you'd need, including a good coffee machine. The living room has had a makeover since we were last there which is now even cosier, and the underfloor heating works really well for the cold, rainy days. Good comfy bed and nice linen (there are German style pillows). There isn't a washing machine in the apartment (for clothing) but we found one at the local supermarket, if you need one for a longer trip. I'd highly recommend this place, it's an oasis of a calm in a beautiful area. You might see their beautiful cats outside. My partner met local people from the village whilst going for walks and said they were friendly. There's also a farm with fresh eggs for sale 7 days a week down the road.

We had a wonderful stay. Geny and Richard were exceptionally hospitable, kind, and considerate hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment is spacious, cozy, bright, impeccably clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back and can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Nous avons passé un excellent weekend en famille chez Marion, le logement correspondait exactement à nos attentes, calme, propre, salles de bains rénovées, cuisine très bien équipée, grande table de salle à manger (jusqu'à 10 personnes), grande terrasse extérieure, deux places de parking pour nos voitures devant notre porte, une boulangerie délicieuse à 5 minutes à pied, des instructions très claires. Merci à Marion et à Francine pour votre accueil.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Matthias & Gitta's place. We were looking for a cozy, relaxing break on our trip to Blackforest National Park and the place was perfect for us. They were really responsive to our request for early check-in and recommendations and suggested good short trips to us. We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in, where they had laid some Apfelsaft and Cookies for us. The place is HUGE! Far more rooms then we needed. Our daughter loved running around the house and playing with the toys and games available. Was really happy to see a nice carved Chessboard and Foosball (two of my favorite indoor games). The kitchen, too, is stocked with cooking essentials. The hosts keep their respectful distance, but were always available for any Qs/requests. Would definitely stay here again when we make our next trip in the area. Best, Hardik

We really had a wonderful time. Great and private location. Wonderful pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Charming and cozy cabin. Just there were some issues with some smell and general state of cleaning of the house but not a big deal. Overall e had great time and highly recommend Anna's villa .

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe und hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt! Der Empfang war äußerst herzlich und freundlich. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen – es ist sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten zur Nutzung. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden drei Tage in der Unterkunft von Eve verbracht. Das Haus ist wirklich toll, sehr gut ausgestattet und ruhig gelegen. Durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof kann man mit dem Zug in weniger als einer Stunde Strasbourg erreichen. Eve ist sehr freundlich und meldet sich gleich, wenn man etwas braucht. Alles in Allen sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren über Ostern mit der Familie in der Villa und haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt! Der schöne große Garten ist perfekt für groß und klein und in we irgendwie Minuten waren wir zu Fuß in der Stadt. Eine tolle Lage!

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Amazing views and so peaceful. We were also so lucky with the weather for the time of year, which helped us enjoy Aurelie's stunning place in Alsace. Many walks and cycles from the door - although not for the faint hearted, lots of up and down!

Hôte très agréable et hyper réactif. Le logement était très agréable, nous avons passé un super moment grâce à tous les jeux et installations proposés.

Everything was as described, in a peaceful and private environment with a polite hostess and all the listed amenities. Calming and relaxing experience. I highly recommended it and would definitely revisit it in the future! A great bonus for us was that pets were allowed and had a great time as well.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe mit Kindern in der Unterkunft. Das Haus hat wirklich vieles zu bieten. Die Möbel sind vielleicht nicht mehr modern aber in einem sehr guten Zustand und vor allem sehr sauber! Hilfreich war auch die zusätzliche Küche im unteren Bereich. Der Garten mit Trampolin und Schaukel war ein Highlight für die Kinder. Den Pool konnten wir aufgrund der Jahreszeit verständlicherweise nicht benutzen. Bezüglich der Zimmer vielleicht eine Anmerkung. In der oberen Etage befinden sich 4 Schlafzimmer wovon eines ein Durchgangszimmer zu einem weiteren Schlafzimmer ist. Wir danken dir Jean-François für den tollen Aufenthalt und dass du immer sehr gut erreichbar warst. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
