We can’t say enough about Churchill, Brian, and Corrine. We stay here every time we come to Baker City and it never disappoints. This community is so lucky to have these two. They have become friends of ours over the years and we look forward to seeing them as well as staying at their immaculate place. If you’re lucky, there will be live music at the onsite venue. I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars.

Mellisa did a great job describing that it is an old house. It is perfect for a single or couple. The furnishings are well chosen and in a nice condition. The vinyl collection is a fun addition that we enjoyed very much. The cooking pots and pans are a quality much better than I usually find in an AirBnB. The house is a short walk to the theater, many good restaurants, coffee, a park, a river walk, the library, and much more. The parking spot behind the house is very convenient and helps loading and unloading from further adventures. Also, my plans changed and I needed to arrive a few days early. Mellisa was quick, clear, and allowed me to edit my reservation to create a longer stay. Huge thank you! We look forward to staying at the house again.

Due to unfortunate circumstances in our travel we weren’t able to make it to their place but they were amazing to contact us back and even went way above and beyond and refunded us the money they didn’t have to. Absolutely amazing people and a beautiful home. I’d recommend them to everyone who’s going through. If 6/5 stars was an option I’d have put that.

This place feels like home as soon as you step inside. Old Time Hawkey and his doggos would love it here. So many thoughtful additions that go beyond just asthetics and really encourage you to be in the moment, dip your toes in nostalgia, and enjoy those simple things that we don’t usually take the time to appreciate. This is more than just a weekend rental - it’s a chance to share what I’m sure Betty loved about living here. Thanks Betty and we absolutely will plan a second trip here! We will miss walking up Pine Creek Lane along the creek and watching the sun set.
