Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!

The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

This cozy log cabin is nestled on 6 private acres with beautiful natural surroundings. It is an ideal location for a honeymoon, romantic get away or a quiet retreat. Across from the driveway entrance you will find 600 hundred acres of trails called the Putney Woods, a popular area that has been designated for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The cabin itself has a large wrap around deck, as well as an outside fire pit area for use when no burn ban is in effect.
