Beautiful apartment with great views of the Harz

Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on a south-facing slope in the resort town of Ilfeld in the South Harz. The small vacation home is comfortably furnished with rustic wooden furniture. It has a kitchen, an open living area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. There is also a large terrace, a sunny garden with garden furniture and barbecue facilities. The region offers numerous opportunities for excursions and hikes in the Harz and Kyffhäuser.

We are two sisters who grew up in Bad Suderode and have already given vacationers and spa guests of the place information about excursion destinations in the area in our childhood days. For December, we particularly recommend the Quedlinburg Christmas market, Advent in the courtyards and the Bad Suderöde mountain parade. In 10 minutes you can walk through the city forest (enclosure) to the city center and directly behind your home is Hohenrode Park. The immediate proximity to the Harz Mountains offers many opportunities for active vacation planning. We hope you feel comfortable in our lovingly furnished cottage. If you read this text, you are one step closer to your perfect Harz vacation. Our apartment is best suited for couples or small families. It is located on the 2nd floor (attic) of a three-party house with few residential units. Very quiet and relaxing. Not overcrowded. Very good amenities (like at home). Parking is available right outside the door. Good fast Internet VDSL 50 Mbit free of charge.
