At a unique spot on the Lauwersmeer are our two Waterhouses, half above the water. With spectacular views over the Lauwersmeer. The water cottages, also called tiny houses, have a private bath room with shower, washbasin, and toilet. Private kitchen, with induction stove and oven. A double bed (2 separate mattresses of 80 cm) TV and small sitting area. There is also a dining table for two people. Terrace with south-facing seating. Roller curtains and nice warm blankets. Delightful tranquility!

Boerenchalet Dirk

Er even tussenuit onder de sterrenhemel. In onze boerenchalet kunnen maximaal twee personen overnachten. We hebben een lekkere twee persoons bed met loopruimte aan beide zeiden, zodat uw niet over elkaar heen hoeft te rollen. Het chalet staat vlak bij het sanitair gebouw waar u kunt douchten, afwassen, water halen, tandenpoetsen en naar de toilet kunt gaan. Het chalet heeft een fijne veranda waar u ’s avonds en overdag even lekker kunt zitten met een drankje en kunt genieten van de omgeving.

The Wandelschuur

The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

Tiny house Bij de borg

Upstairs in the Netherlands, near the Wadden Coast, you will find this sustainable and energy-neutral tiny house. The cottage is suitable for 2 persons. It offers a lot of privacy and all the comforts. Everything you need is available. It has a wonderful view and is surrounded by a natural garden. The tiny house is decorated with love and in detail. It is completely made of wood and has a living area of 30m². Enjoy the scenery and the skies, the peace and the space!

In our distance

Our cottage is located on a tree-lined meadow, next to our farm from 1814, just outside the beautiful village of Warfhuizen. Enjoy the peace and privacy, the seasons, the views and the possibilities in the area. You can swim and sail at 200 meters. The Wadden Sea is 10 kilometers away, the Lauwersmeer National Park is 15 kilometers away. Furthermore, there are many borgs, villages, and other places within walking, cycling or car distance that are worth visiting.

Former worker's cottage, rural location

Simple former country worker's cottage in a rural area with several amenities nearby. The center of Delfzijl is located at 3km distance and Appingedam with its hanging kitchens is 6km away. Simple country cottage on the countryside but close to various facilities such as a train station, supermarket and restaurants. The center of Delfzijl is only 3 kilometers away. Appingedam, a charming little historical town, with its hanging kitchens, is about 6 km away.

Cozy room with bathroom.

This nice room is built in a barn has its own shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive to the Wadden Sea. So no beach but dikes with sheep on it. However, a few sprayed fake beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for the real work. Waking up to cackling chickens under your window. Wood-burning stove warmth, with support of electric stove. The price does not include breakfast. Preferably no employees, unless..... Dogs welcome for a small fee.

Modern cabin

A cabin from 2021 with all facilities you need. Easily accessible by car and located between Groningen and Delfzijl. The cabin is situated in the Hoogeland region which is known for its calming views and beautiful Groningen sunsets. It is not uncommon to see a herd of deer grazing during breakfast! This is the perfect accommodation for a walk- or biking tour in the area, or to see the rest of the northern Netherlands or Germany by car.

Sleeping on the mudflats

Go offline on the edge of the mudflats in a simple but modern wadden house. Here the nights are still really dark and you can even see the Northern Lights at some times! Noordpolderzijl is the ideal base for your mudflats or holidays on the wadden coast. Please be aware that you are staying in a nature reserve on the Wadden Sea. Dogs must stay on a leash and there is no large beach as you may be used to from the North Sea coast.

Enjoy the tranquility in our cozy self-sufficient cottage with beautiful garden. A homemade cottage with an eye for reuse and Vintage stuff. Take a bath, test whether a dry toilet is for you, get ideas for your own little cottage. Have a cup of coffee in the garden and watch our edible garden are created:)Enjoy the Groningen countryside and spend a day in the city! There is space for two adults and a child up to 5 years.

Get away or vacation in the north of the Netherlands... On the border of the Wadden area and in the Lauwersoog National Park, you can enjoy peace, space, nature and a beautiful starry sky.
