Cottage holiday rentals in Hilton Head Island

This is a super cute and cozy little cottage in a newer RV resort. Everything was really clean and felt brand new. It’s in a great spot—about 20–25 minutes from downtown Savannah, but nice and quiet, so it’s perfect for relaxing and getting good sleep. The WiFi was great too, no issues with streaming or browsing. We’ll definitely look to stay here again next time we’re in Savannah. Highly recommend!

We decided to check out Tybee Island on our drive back to Maryland from Florida this year. It was a perfect weekend respite to break up the long drive. The cottage is just as pictured -cozy, rustic and delightfully charming. I loved all of the whimsical touches throughout (particularly the champagne bell!) The king bed and living area chairs were very comfortable but the best spot was out on the screened dock porch-lounging on the swinging bed-cool in the shade and by the constant breezes. While the tide swings didn't cooperate for use of the kayaks, we did enjoy biking all over the island and the use of the golf cart to explore. The outdoor shower was also a big win! I highly recommend this spot for some R&R!

We had a great experience. It worked well for our two families and it had a private space in the back. The host was very responsive and responded immediately.

This was our first RV resort stay, so I wasn't really expecting such a beautiful place. It truly is a "resort". We were visiting our grand-twins for their first birthday. They live in Springfield above Savannah, and the location was only 24 easy miles. The two bedrooms tiny house was comfortable for four adults and our pup. We had everything we need. What I was surprised most about was how quiet it was, and there were a lot of people camping. The amenities were top-notch. We even had food trucks Friday and Saturday night. How awesome is that? The ladies who work there were super friendly and helpful. We have stayed at several different places while visiting our family in Savannah, but this is going to be our go-to place. We loved it.

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

Great location. Close to Forsyth Park supermarket and coffee shop. Near all the great attractions in Savannah. The unit was amazing, clean, fantastic kitchen, especially for me who has food allergy challenges and really relies on a well stocked kitchen. The backyard, hot tub, and games made for a great weekend. This is our second stay here and would definitely visit again.

This - is an absolute perfectly executed example of what everyone wants their AirBNB to be - This is AirBNB artisan level. We've stayed in a few AirBNBs during our travels, and this has to be one of the most amazingly detailed, curated, fun, coloful, well thought out, well planned and well crafted beyond our expectations. This is AirBNB excellence. Usually we find AirBNB's end up just a "crash-pad", however this place became our primary go-to destination because it had all the amenities you could dream of. Hot tub was ready for us, kitchen was immaculate, the decor was beyond charming. If you're thinking - yeah, it looks cute, but all airbnb's are cute in pictures - Nay nay! The pictures capture the ambiance and concept of this little gem exactly. We wanted to live here at the Tiki Cottage - forever. Books, games, hot-tub, vinyl, golf cart and a beach.

Missy was the hostess with the mostest! She was very responsive and polite. Her goal is to make you very comfortable. I look forward to staying here again. Plenty of spots to relax on the property. Thanks Missy!

This location was perfect, a short walk from the beach. We had the bottom floor, which opened out to the spacious backyard, the renters on the top floor seemed nice and we respected each other's space/privacy. We would definitely rent again! We brought our two dogs that loved both the backyard and beach!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was our first visit to Hilton head as a family. We had our toddler and fur babes and they enjoyed every part of it. There was something for all of us and it accommodated our family very well! The condo was clean, very nice & peaceful in an amazing location. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, so kind and made us feel very welcome in their home. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Alex’s place for our next family vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cucumber Cabana. It has tons of character and we were very comfortable. Tennille was an amazing host that gave lots of recommendations. She was friendly and quick to answer any questions. The cabana was clean, exactly as described, and well stocked with linens, coffee, and, thankfully….pancake mix! Know that breakfast options are limited on Daufuskie so we really appreciated the thought to offer that. We look forward to future visits and highly recommend a stay in Tennille’s property.

Deer Island is an incredible spot in Sea Pines! Very secluded yet still a walk away from Harbour Town. Meredith’s sea loft is cozy with perfect views of the bay and the wetlands. Loved staying here and hope to come back again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay here with our 4 year old and 6 year old. The cottage was even cuter in person and felt both tucked away and connected to everything. The walk to the beach was easy (especially with the provided bikes) and we were able to easily get around Sea Pines by bike. (We rented from Sea Pines which made it super easy.) The kitchen was well stocked and we loved meals on the screened in porch. The pool was lovely on hot afternoons! Highly recommend for an easy stay in Hilton Head.

Our cottage was perfection! Beautiful, clean, very well stocked, wonderful location complete with pelican and dolphin sitings, friendly neighbors, very serene & that intoxicating porch swing!!!! The owner was so kind and we even met him in person when he delivered a golf cart to us ( to replace one)…we appreciated that personal touch! Five stars all around… my friends and I now know why this peaceful island can “get in your blood,” making you want to go back..and, this cottage is the perfect place to go back to!!!! Thank you for the stay!

Me, my Wife and our Pup had a fantastic stay. House was as described. Plenty of room with a cute fenced in backyard with decks to lounge comfortably. House is in Sea Pines close to main gate. Many restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time and plan on returning. Excellent communication from host. We will be back.

Really enjoyed staying here! The location is pristine and has everything one would need for a quiet getaway. My husband and I loved sitting on the dock and watching the fish jump out of the water throughout the day. Lori and her husband were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Would definitely rebook in the future.

I want to keep this hidden gem to myself but I will leave a review because Jim and Pam are absolutely phenomenal and their place is spectacular! We will be back!

Incredible cottage on the May River. Without a doubt one of my favorite AirBnb’s. The owners did an incredible job decorating and making the cottage feel unique and cozy. I’ve never would have guessed that the wall paneling under the wainscoting was roofing from the original historic house that was remodeled and rebuilt. The cottage guest house is located alongside the main house with full access to the beautiful gardens, patios, and pier. It is a serene setting and just so wonderful to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed more but we stopped as part of a southeast coast roadtrip from Virginia to Key West Florida. Our plan had been to use Bluffton as a stay over to visit Hilton Head Island. Not knowing we had booked during a busy and popular PGA golf weekend we were cautioned about the traffic in Hilton Head so we decided to stay back and just enjoy Bluffton and the cottage. This was the best decision ever!!

We had a great stay. Instructions were super clear, communication was fast, and the home was very clean. Minor things like 1 of the 2 beach chairs was broken and the pack n play wasn’t in great condition. Regardless, we would absolutely stay here again.

The Blueberry Cottage was amazing. My MIL, daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights. We seriously could’ve stayed forever. The cottage had everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked and we even had coffee and tea available. Jan had all the amenities for the beach as well. We loved her decor. It had the perfect amount of whimsey for a place like Tybee. We loved getting up early to go see the sunrise on the beach and then coming back and having coffee, a light breakfast, and awesome conversation every morning on the screened in porch. We had the best time at this great cottage on this amazing little island. We can’t wait to come back!!

Ruth's cottage was lovely, great location that was close to everything, but far enough away that it wasn't loud. Our family made great use of the porch, eating outside for the first half of our stay before the weather turned unusually cold. It was cool to see large cargo ships coming in and out of port. Their family was very kind to our little kiddo, and even took time to play, which was above and beyond what I would expect from a host/family. Their was also a highchair and Graco pack and play which was really helpful!

If I have my way, I will ONLY stay at Julie's when visiting HHI. Period! The location is ideal. Three minute to the beach, three minute walk to the shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza, plus endless bike paths for exercising. What I love most about Julie's place is the cozy factor. Her place is located in an actual "old school" HHI neighborhood and exudes old HHI vibes. The way Julie filled her place with original art, antiques, and books is so inviting. I could gush on and on. If her place is available when you need it, snag it!

Loved staying at "Just Pinch Me". It was one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and local restaurants were only a short bike ride away. Easy walk to the beach with beach gear supplied. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Loved the large screened in porch for sitting in the morning with our coffee or in the evening with a drink. The screened in pool and spa tub were very relaxing also. You could tell Lisa made sure everything was kept up and ready for her guests. Lisa was very easy to communicate with if you had any questions. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Tybee Island.
