Susan and Per’s home is ideally situated in a secure estate monitored by security and surrounded by wildlife. We felt safe and well-connected. The home was updated, clean, and provided everything needed for a bush stay and more. We highly recommend this home for your next visit after exploring the wild. 5 stars!!!

We stayed over at Silke's place for 2 nights. The check-in was a breeze which really helped after a very long day of traveling. The house was clean and our experience overall was lovely. Would highly recommend Silke's place to anyone traveling to the Kruger.

Spent a wonderful long weekend at Rachel’s and it was absolutely worth it. We had a few hiccups, however they were promptly sorted. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous, secluded, quiet and perfect for a recharge. It’s kitted with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home.

This was truly one of the best Airbnbs any of us have ever stayed at. Erna and Andre were incredibly welcoming, and Andres passion for the zebras and bush babies was heartwarming—it added such a unique and special touch to the experience. They kindly provided breakfast essentials and were very accommodating when we arrived later than expected. The decor is stunning, the space is thoughtfully designed, and the location is absolutely phenomenal—surrounded by breathtaking mountains. The photos honestly don’t do it justice. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll definitely be back!

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

Cozy spot in the heart of Hoedspruit walking distance from everything. My favorite thing about his place is the pool as it was very hot. Aircon works well and his dogs are super friendly. Well worth it and I will be back

Getting to the place was easy. Upon arrival we were met by a lovely lady by the name of Veronica. She did the house tour and the place is really lovely and beautiful. Prior to my booking I asked Jordan if there is fishing seeing the pictures on their place she said yes there is. Even on arrival Veronica saw our fishing equipment and nothing was said about the rules of fishing. We took our fishing equipment to the river and caught about 5 fishes. While there the Owner by the name of Eric came to me and told me that the rules of fishing are that it’s a “catch and release policy” we were not supposed to fish out to keep for ourselves.Nothing was said prior about the policy even on their rules in the house. I contacted Jordan and she said to the fishing was only a favour to us so we should abide by the rules. Usually most establishments make rules known to their guests before they book. They said fire wood available and no fee was mentioned. We paid for the firewood. This put us off.
