The (Solar) Bird House

This beautiful, solar powered cottage with a spacious patio, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country life with a real feel for nature. Apart from the mountain view you might also be fortunate enough to witness a warthog family passing by or even some small game grazing nearby. Relax and listen to the birds chirping. You may even hear the bush babies shrieking, lions roaring and hyenas whooping at night. We are central to many tourist attractions and only 27 km from Hoedspruit.

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

An idyllic sanctuary, nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. Tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. This modern two-sleeper cottage is designed with peace in mind. Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon.
