Rachel was a great host and the cabin was very cozy. Download whatever you might need to your phone before you head in - there won’t be phone service and wifi can be spotty. That’s a good thing, if you’re looking for quiet and seclusion! I’d recommend this stay to anyone looking to disconnect and be close to the beaches for sunsets.

This is my second time as a guest on Lavida’s idyllic forested land, but my first stay in this particular cabin. Gorge Edge last winter was wonderful, but Confluence was even better! My partner and I really appreciated the convenience of backing our car up to the cabin’s covered front porch (it was raining hard, and being able to unload our gear while staying dry was 👍🏻👍🏻). The cabin interior was very welcoming, and perfectly appointed for a peaceful, off-grid respite. At night, when we weren’t enjoying the rain on the rooftop, we could hear the creek rushing by just down the hill behind the site. We slept great! We both like our privacy on our vacation stays, and Lavida is the perfect host: responsive if we ever need anything, super friendly when we stopped by to pick up some more wood, but we basically felt like we had the whole forest to ourselves back there. I can’t wait to visit the property again. Thank you, Lavida, for another perfect stay!!

Sharon’s place was exactly what I was looking for: private, remote location, surrounded by the woods & a creek. There’s only a couple of houses nearby & 3 RV’s at the same parcel of land (those were empty during my stay). The house is a converted railway carriage. It was clean and warm. Felt like a summer/ vacation house in the woods. The house had all the basics in kitchen and bathroom areas. Full bed was comfortable enough, even though I prefer at least a queen size bed. The host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay at Sharon’s place again.

An absolutely unbelievable stay, the pictures just don’t do it justice! The bungalow is super cozy and clean with everything you need and unbeatable views. I’m already thinking of when we can come stay here again! 10/10 thanks Stephanie!
