Beachfront holiday rentals in Holbox

Holbox was more than I expected. Everything was within walking distance. The rental was in the best location with access to the best of beaches. It was very clean with fresh bathroom towels and beach towels provided. The sheets were changed and unit cleaned daily. Absolutely beautiful place to visit, the location was key. It was close enough to the center but far enough away for complete privacy and peace. Right in the backyard was the beach area that I found to be the most amazing of all the beaches I visited. Wonderful stay! I highly recommend! Additionally, the transportation package recommended, to and from the airport, was perfect and I didn't have to worry about that piece. I could just relax.

We had a great stay in this lovely appartment. Enjoyed relaxing on the amazing roof terrace and visiting the local beaches. It's far from central Holbox but less busy and we had no problem getting taxis into town. There are walkable restaurants and beach clubs nearby. Cecilia always responded quickly to any queries.

Excellent time at Casa Barbara where the staff was kind and available. It was a quiet oasis in the center of town with an easy walk to the beach.

Wonderful location, at the same block you can find mini markets and delicious street food like marquesitas, esquites tacos and Argentine food, close to public beach (Holbox letters), near Holbox park

Excellent location very close to the ferry And it was also very close to the center you can do everything on foot. The only thing left at a distance is the hotel area

Everything is very nice like the photos, the roof is spectacular but I didn't love that the pool is there in the restaurant, it loses privacy. It is in front of the beach, the view very nice and good attention.

It was a great stay in Holbox. Steps away from the most beautiful beach and a couple blocks from all the downtown restaurants. For the price, you get a lot with Macondo.

It matched the description and photos, the place was very nice and functional, the super facilities, the only thing you need is that they don't have food service. Out of the way, it's super recommended. It's close to the beach.

Loved the place, we arrived on foot without problems. It's 15 minutes to the port and 10 to downtown. The closest beach is beautiful. Everything was impeccable for us

We loved this property. So beautiful and close to the beach. We preferred this location because it was central to the best part of the beach and all of the best restaurants.

Casa dos Estrellas is on a beautiful part of Holbox. The room and shared areas are gorgeous. The caretakers extremely friendly and helpful. The walk into Holbox along the beach is lovely at low tide, a little more adventurous when tide is a bit higher but totally doable. There’a plenty of nice restaurants nearby tho, so you wouldn’t need to leave the area if you didn’t want to. Maybe do a grocery shop on your way in, tho if you don’t plan on going back and forth. Elizabeth is very communicative and easy to reach if needed.

It was just perfect!

Great hotel, lovely staff, breakfast was awesome. It’s a walking island so we did just that to get everywhere we wanted to go. Master suite was super nice, great view, comfy bed, fast wifi, Tv and nice AC. It’s a little more weathered than the professional photos, but it doesn’t matter because overall it’s great and the price is right considering how expensive the whole island is. I would say their restaurant menu is quite pricey, but happy hour is a great deal. All the staff were next level just a great group of people! Loved it and would stay again.

This place was amazing! The house is clean and spacious. Perfect location, away from busy from traffic but only a couple minute walk to the beach and about 10-15 minutes walk along the beautiful beachside into town. The pool was great and we lounged on the deck with the neighboring iguana. WiFi was fine and the place had pretty much everything we needed.

Vanessa was great at greeting us and solving all our requests. The cooking staff were friendly and helpful. The lemonades are great. The bed and pillows are very confortable - 5 star level.

Kevin was extremely attentive to our arrival. He helped us with booking our shuttle from Cancun to the ferry in Chiquila. He checked in with us to see where we were on our route to ensure we had a taxi waiting for us upon arriving to the Isla from Chiquila. Rosa, their very kind guest caretaker was extremely responsive and helpful any time we had questions (Gracias Rosa!). Literal steps away from the beach (they provide beach essentials!), 5 minute walk to the only convenience store closest to the BNB + a pizza/taco restaurant attached to the con store, 10 minute taxi ride into el centro of la Isla (or an easy 20-25 minute beach walk). We recommend grabbing some snacks or drinks prior to heading to Casa Molly from El Centro but again the convenience store is a short walk away. There is a good amount of steps to climb to the unit we stayed in however it was not an issue for us. All in all- stay here, you won't regret it. We most definitely look forward to returning to Isla Holbox.

A basic room close to the beach. Comfortable beds and bathroom. The kitchen is primitive with a camping stove to cook on. You can ask for soap for the dishes and maybe also for cooking oil.

My friends and I absolutely recommend this place and it will be the only place we use when we come to Holbox in the future! Josmar was the best and extremely proactive. Casa Holboxeños was everything I wanted and more. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. Thank you all!
