It has a shared dock w/ 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards.

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Shuck, kayak, crab, clam, soak in the hot tub or just relax by the river rock fireplace in our beautiful beach cabin. 315' of oyster rich no bank waterfront on a sheltered cove. Everyone will have fun at Octopus Hole! Also available for rent are our adjacent studio cottage and our 2-bedroom 1930's cabin, located on the far side of the studio. All 3 cabins are located right next to each other, right on the beach. Rent two or all three cabins for a large group or a reunion!
