The Lodge - Restored, Rustic 2 Bedroom On The River

The Lodge, a historic cabin on River Mountain Farm, is a private 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house that sleeps up to 4 and is pet friendly. Renovated in 2022, we restored this 1880s cabin and added modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. It is perfect for a family getaway and has two private bedrooms along with a fully-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, and a living room with working fireplace. The bathroom features a claw foot tub with shower fixtures. On site, you'll have access to 137 acres of hiking and nearly a mile and a quarter of river frontage for fishing or kayaking. You can borrow one of our four kayaks, two paddle boards, or two river tubes or bring your own and launch from our new floating dock. We provide most of the gear you will need including adult life jackets, paddles, and waterproof bags. The owners, Adrienne and Drew, live on the property and are available to assist with anything you might need before or during your stay. The Lodge always includes free coffee and free firewood (sustainably harvested from the property) for the fire pit. A new 48-panel solar array attached to the original barn generates 20,000 kWh and covers all of our energy consumption. The Kayaker

Peacefully placed alongside the Raystown Branch Juniata River. Our cabins offer a private getaway with all the amenities you're going to need; 3 bedrooms, full kitchens, and laundry just to name a few. While you stay, be sure to check out the ample public game lands, Rails to Trails (1 mile away), and the Raystown Weaver Falls boat ramp (10 min. away). If you're like us, you may just spend most of your time with a line in the water right outside the cabin. We look forward to your stay with us.

Cozy Cabin With Outdoor Hot Tub

Self check for convenience Tiny cabin with all you need squeezed into it for pleasant stay. It is located on a secluded property not far (5 miles) from major interstates. It is a small guest house across the lawn from our house where my wife and I live. It has window AC and wifi available. Free continental breakfast foods provided. (There is no kitchen) Cleaned to perfection ! We do spray for bugs but it is not unusual to see some spiders and bugs since the cabin is right against the woods.

Walking distance to the Historical East Broadtop Railroad and Trolley. Short distance to Lake Raystown,and State College. Beautiful golf course within 12 miles. Grocery store and restaurants near by. Quaint town for walking and sightseeing. House is unoccupied (large yard, gift shop on property and playground across the street).

Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows. A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

Flight 93 memorial, and many others.

Come to the country where you can watch the wildlife and see amazing sunsets. Plenty of attractions biking, hiking and kayaking. The home has been completely remodeled . Enjoy the spacious open concept family room that meets the kitchen, or the large living room for quiet comfort. Four bedrooms, and a full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs. Perhaps just sit on one of the front porch rockers or by the fire pit in the evening. We do not allow pets at this property.
