Els & Frederik's accommodation was a perfect fit for us, as we traveled a lot by bike to explore the region and follow the spring classics Dwaars Door Vlaanderen and the Ronde on the track. Oudenaarde is only about 10-15 minutes away by car - from there it is also possible to take the train to Ghent. Els & Frederik are very nice and friendly hosts who made us feel extremely comfortable. if you like being outside amid farms with lots of animals around (including chickens and a coop in the garden) then this is the place! our kids loved it for sure. you need a car to get around and the stone can be cold to your toes so bring socks but else just enjoy the countryside!
