Just minutes from the boutique shopping, restaurants and cafes of downtown Taupo, the motel is central to the region’s action and attractions. Whatever your idea of a Taupo getaway, Cottage Mews promises a memorable lakeside experience.

The space
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel at home in your comfortable apartment, a little piece of the past – spacious, welcoming and relaxed. There is a lot to see and do on the North Island’s central plateau.

This cozy cottage features a Queen bed, Single bed, double whirlpool spa bath, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette with stovetop and microwave, tea/coffee facilities, heat pump, electric blankets and a private garden courtyard.

You might just like to settle in and relax locally. Walk beside the lake or along the Waikato River to Huka Falls. Bike to cafes and boutique shops. Drop a line off a fishing boat, kayak around our bay or soak in nearby hot pools. We’ll do all we can to help you get the most from your stay beside Lake Taupo.
