This unique and tranquil getaway is located near Gettysburg, Carlisle and Hanover. There is plenty to explore in the area so be sure to checkout the guidebook. Highlights include Gettysburg National Park, Carlisle Events, the Appalachian Trail, and Roundtop Mountain Resort. Our Guest Suite is located on the lower level of our home. A stone path will lead you to your private entrance. Feel free to interact with us during your stay, but we will respect your privacy if you choose not to.

Cozy Farmhouse Cottage

This cottage was once the washhouse for the adjoining 1790's farmhouse and has been recently renovated into a cozy retreat, overlooking the quiet fields and rolling mountains of Boiling Springs. The queen bed in the loft and double bed in the back room offers flexibility for a quick getaway or long-term stays. Head to the private deck for a meal and view of the sunset in the evening. Carlisle is just up the road and Harrisburg is only a 25-minute drive. Come and be refreshed.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Just five minutes from the Carlisle Fairgrounds, one block from a park with disc golf, playground, and a walking path alongside a peaceful creek. The historic district of Carlisle is only a fifteen minute drive. Large bedroom comfortably sleeps four with two queen beds. Kitchen includes refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Includes a private entrance and parking.

Come to the “back 40” of the farm to relax and rejuvenate! Experience some of the area’s best views on the walk around the perimeter of the farm on a 1.8 mile marked trail! Rest on the deck with a cup of coffee and watch for wildlife or soak in the private hot tub at night and watch the stars!

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.
