Monthly Rentals in Huon River

staying at Huon burrow was a nice change of pace in between our hotel stays. it's exactly as described. amazing views over the river, comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. Gaye and Clyde are super lovely and welcomed us when we got there and left. it rained the day we stayed but it was nice to sit inside the warmth and look out across the mountains and river. it was 3°C at night, but even without a heater on it was a pleasant 18 inside. there are lots of places in Franklin to eat at and it's a good stop-gap for travelling further south. we would definitely be back and for longer next time, when it's a bit warmer to enjoy the roof!

What a jewel of a place! Right on the river, great views, walking distance to cafes, fish and chips and even roadside apple stands. Having a large bedroom and separate sitting room with a daybed were perfect for us - it took me longer to get over jet lag, so my husband could sleep and I could get up ad read or watch TV without waking him. Great kitchen, and just overall charming. The hosts were lovely - available but not intrusive. This was our second stay and we would highly recommend!!

What a beautiful clean space Marissa and Dean have created. We were blown away by the thought and effort to create such a comfortable stay. Furnishings, fittings and appliances in this apartment were top notch and the outside entertainment area included a very inviting outdoor kitchen/bbq with hot water on tap. The bed is fluffy and comfortable and so are the towels. Marissa very kindly accommodated our last minute request and we are thrilled she did. Would recommend staying a few days as a base to explore the area.
