Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Icaria

My friend and I had a great stay in Eleni’s place. We appreciated the dog-friendliness. Eleni was very communicative and guided us to the house via messages in the middle of the night after our arrival by boat in Evdilos. It was easy to heat up the apartment using the airconditioning, as the nights were still cold mid April. We would definitely stay at Eleni’s if we come back to Ikaria again.

Gorgeous house, photos don't do it justice! Comfortable space with beautiful balcony and lots of coolness. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and understanding. The location of the house was very good, it combined tranquility , easy road and access to the main beaches with comfort.

The location is excellent and the views are stunning. Close to everything you need. In addition, Ioannis has been a 10-star host. We would definitely repeat again.

The place is really beautiful standing in high ground and looking at the sea as far as the eye goes. Very nice old school place suitable for a couple, or a family of three. Vakis and his parents are great people and very helpful. The location is also very suitable for touring around the area, go up in the mountains, or visit great beaches. One of the best locations in the island with lots of options for eating! Thank you Vaki and till next time!

We were very satisfied and felt very comfortable - our hosts were very friendly helpful people. We also got the delicious homemade jam and eggs from our own chickens. But also beyond that, Lefteris and his wife were super supportive. We were there out of season in March and life in the village was still very quiet and relaxing and a good starting point for all kinds of excursions activities.

We rented the house for 2 months. I was working on Samos and my wife and 3 children were with me. It was a perfect place for our needs. Maria helped us accommodate for homeschooling and my home office. Our host was most helpful and informed us of local events and happenings. This made us feel included in the local community. All arrangements and facilities were as described. We were there during autumn months and the host always made sure we had everything we needed during the transition of seasons/temperature. It was the perfect place for a long stay. We will miss the place we felt became our home away from home. We can highly recommend staying at this place for vacation or staying for work.

Beautiful short stay before it went on in the mountains. The cottage has everything you need, is super equipped and clean. Communication was great and the hosts went the extra mile!

I’ve been traveling to Greece for 15 years now, and it’s not everyday that you meet people as accommodating, hospitable, attentive as Kostas. He has consistently gone above and beyond by offering us small treats, helping solve our oopsies (he had to pick us up barefoot in the village since we locked ourselves out of the mill). The mill itself is very simple, but fully functional, and has a unique charm due to the views, location close to beaches and bars. We also loved falling asleep to the sound of wind :)

This is the place for families to stay on Ikaria. Spacious kitchen diner, 3 bedrooms and incredible outside space. The pool is excellent, with endless views of the Aegean sea, and occasional glimpses of distant Cycladic islands. The location is also tremendous, a very short walk down to a lovely little beach with good snorkelling around the rocky coast. Nanouras is a very quiet hamlet with no shop or taverna, so it's peaceful and easy to park. It's only a short drive (or bike ride) up the coast to Nas or Armenistis for bars, restaurants and mini markets. There is also a fairly new (paved) road up to the interior villages very nearby, which are well worth visiting. Christos the host and his family were responsive, friendly and helpful. His mother made us some pasta one night! Altogether a complete holiday rental, thoroughly recommended on every level.

This is a little gem of a place! A little bohemian and relaxing with beautiful views of both sea & mountain. The pool is fabulous but as the lovely beach is a 5 minute walk you are spoiled for choice. The bathroom was the only slight issue, clean & adequate but very small. I will definitely be coming back.

the cleaning of the house was great, daily cleaning was done and our garbage was taken away. The view of the pool was very nice, the grocery store, the beach and restaurants were a few minutes away by car. Her communication and hospitality were nice... Antonis and his family are friendly and accommodating hosts, also the housekeeper was very friendly and discreet. The complex seems even more beautiful than in the pictures, it is very quiet, several small houses in a well-kept garden with many olive trees. Everything was perfectly clean. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back again.

Breathtaking views, comfortable room, beautiful pool and bar area. Could have easily spent weeks here. Highly recommend, and will be back.

Anthoula is a great host. Despite the communication difficulties, we understood each other. She was extremely kind, offered us delicious products from her garden. Her house is very nice and very comfortable and its garden is just beautiful and it's great to be there. And its location a little out of Christos is perfect. Thank you for everything.

Thanasis is a marvellously thoughtful and generous host, and the house is perfectly situated near Karlovasi. We recommend!

Chrysanthi's house is a small, peaceful and authentic paradise. Typical Greek house tastefully decorated. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the fields and the sea below. Chrysanthi is a very dedicated host who gave us some great tips for discovering the island. Recommended.

I visited This place in the end of October with mu 3 kids. It was absolutely fantastic. Nice and quiet. I went swimming, running and took a lot if walks to town for nice meals, pastries and groceries. My kids gad a fantastic time snorkeling and petting cats. Manos and his cousin where involved and pro-active with helping wherever they could. Thank u soo much!! And thank you Fourni island..

Eleni is a great host. She is very responsive, and has quick solutions for every issue. We stayed 2 nights. The location of the house is great and the house is very cosy. Since we stayed end of march we did not swim. I can not imagine summer time, you can jump to the sea 5 steps later. Beach front, sleep with the wave sounds . Peacefull place. There are lots of restaurants around. We rented a car to explore the island, but if you would like to only stay in this location you can reach anything by walking.

Kaiti and Demos were great hosts.. We were even invited to a game of tennis the day we arrived! The apartment is at an Ideal location for Evdilos, of excellent construction with balconies overlooking the blue vastness of the Aegean sea

The place was in a beautiful setting, close to the beach and very quiet. The closest restaurants are 10 minutes away but if you are okay with a drive the place is fantastic!

Ikaria is an amazing place. We are very happy since we have found exactly what we were searching for: beautiful beaches, great landscapes, good food, quiet and fresh home to stay. Jenny has been extremely helpful in finding lovely places to visit and enjoy good food. Her apartment was lovely and we hope to come back very soon. Thank you Jenny and Ikaria!
