“If you appreciate the kind of connection you feel when you walk into your childhood home on the eve of a holiday, or the feeling when you reunite with a dear friend after a long separation, then Penelope is the magical host for you! Her home is stunningly beautiful and nestled in a location that lives in your dreams... but her spirit and humanity and warmth and humor somehow shine even brighter than the Saronic gulf, Poros cityscapes, and the perfect Grecian sunshine combined. Everything is spotless, comfortable, well-appointed. And thoughtfulness abounds. Hospitality is an understatement! This mother-son team represents the best of Airbnb. Enjoy, even though I know you will!”

“Any words or pictures from me aren't going to do the Naval House justice. It's a real treasure. The house is beautiful. Spread across two floors with two sitting rooms, it gives you the space to unwind, be at home, and have your own privacy (especially if you're travelling with family or in a small group). The house has a lot of character and Tassos' responsiveness makes you feel very welcome. Location is perfect - a few minutes walk to the port but removed from the main noise and bustle. The house has a variety of outdoor spaces - both at the front and the back of the house, allowing you sun or shade - whatever you want. As a result, you can breakfast on the front balcony overlooking the port, and then lunch in the beautifully calm and enclosed courtyard behind the house. There is also a sweet table underneath the lemon trees by the front courtyard that is perfect for reading, taking a coffee, or just listening to the the mules and horses as they clip clop gently in the small street below. Honestly, it's magical.”
Hydra's view house is an accomondation in the centre of the island providing a panoramic view of Hydra and its port which you can enjoy from the house's rooftop as well as its bedrooms. The house has got a fully equipped kitchen for the preparation of your daily breakfast, lunch or dinner. The living room and the bedrooms provide their own TV, air-condition and WiFi. Also, the house is only 10-12 minutes away from the port to the centre of the island dy foot following a road with stairs.
“My wife and I just got back from our 2 1/2 week trip to Greece, ending with 3 nights at Konstantino's Hydra View House. It was a perfect ending to our trip. He made everything very easy. He met us at the port and pre-arranged a donkey taxi to carry our bags. He even carried my wife's backpack. Then we walked up to the house, quite a few steps up - but worth every step. He had snacks waiting for us and showed us his beautiful house. Sometimes owners handpick photos that make a place look better than it is - not here. No photos can do the house justice. The views from the windows, especially from the master window that opens wide, are spectacular. And the view from the rooftop terrace is even better. We used it every night for wine and snacks, while we watched the sun sink to the sea to the west and the lighting change colors over the city to the north and east. If you need it, the AC works very well - in the main room and in both bedrooms. But there is usually a very nice breeze thru the house, and the house is north facing, so the sunlight doesn't heat the rooms. Everything in the house is tastefully done. We made our own breakfast and coffee and he recommended restaurants, beaches, anything we asked about. And we both feel Konstantinos is ready to help with anything. We appeared stranded on the island for an extra day because the sea was too rough. His next guests had to cancel their trip - so the house was available. He let us stay through the day in case we needed to stay another night. He kept in touch with us throughout the day and helped us hurry down to the port when we found we could leave the island at 5:30 PM. It was a tremendous help, at no additional charge (since the house was open anyway). Otherwise we would have had to take our bags down to the port and wait all day. (He has another house very close to the port and he offered us to leave our bags there, but this was even easier.) This way we could still enjoy our last day, wondering the streets of the city looking at so many beautiful spots. Our regret is that we stayed only for 3 nights. Our flights home were paid for already. Next time it will be a week. The island is wonderfully relaxing.”
