Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

Dear Gaby, Thank you for this wonderful place. Super flexible check-in and "despite" the immediate neighborhood with you, we felt completely private and right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone who is in the mood for a little break in the countryside: there was no Wi-Fi, nor any clocks in the cottage and the breakfast TV consisted of "looking out the window and listening to the birds and watching". Great! I will definitely come back again:)

Malin & Stefan are wonderful friendly people and it was a feeling of being able to stay with you. The apartment is very tasteful, individually furnished but also functionally thought out with wonderfully comfortable mattresses and good kitchen equipment. Particularly impressive is the forest with garden and the co-hosts the ponnies, chickens and ducks. An oasis in the countryside to feel good!

Achim's house in East Frisia is perfect for a family vacation or group of friends! The many rooms and the size of the living and dining area (open kitchen) offer retreats as well as space for communal activities; the well-kept and large garden is very inviting to play. The barbecue area behind the pond (is fenced, smaller children and dogs are protected) is covered, so even in bad weather you have the opportunity to sit outside. The kitchen is super equipped - like everything in this house, functional and thoughtful! We were there in April and more in the House as planned - the underfloor heating and the conservatory (great views) have beautified our stay there. The location is great: tours to the Great - and Eternal Sea by bike are possible; by car you can quickly get to Emden, Aurich or Greetsiel. In the village, there is also a lot to discover (e.g. museum, tea puffs). - Thank you, Achim!

The holiday home Seehund was very cozy and very stylish. Lucas is a very enjoyable and reliable contact person, from whom we have received help at any time. There are still some construction sites around the house, which did not bother us any further. A restaurant that can be reached on foot would have been great. But in the cozy kitchen it was fun to cook together. We would like to visit the accommodation again.

It was very nice to stay with Renate. You heat through a fireplace for which the firewood is ready. In general, a completely successful stay if you want to explore the area.

I highly recommend the apartment!! We were there with 5 women and appreciated the large living area very much. In the spacious apartment you quickly feel at home and can enjoy your stay even in January. Grete is a very good host, thanks for everything!!!!!

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

A wonderful apartment. Great amenities, great quality. Everything you want and more. Generous number of all items available. Games, toys, more than enough dishwashing tabs, wonderful large sauna with great amenities. Great beds, thick towels… I could mention many more very good details. Very good, very friendly and accommodating communication. Absolutely excellent and highly recommended!

Hannes and Dolphin's place is wonderfully suitable for people who like to hike and cycle. We did tours in the area and it is a very beautiful landscape. If you like the Wesermarsch, you will find a totally quiet place in the middle of nature in the apartment. The house offers every comfort and our hosts were friendly and helpful. We have had a good safe shelter for our bikes and would highly recommend this apartment.

My girlfriend and I spent our second stay together here; the home was just a perfect as the first time around. The setting is beautiful and was just as pleasant during winter as it was in the summer. We got lucky and had snow this time, which truly made for some gorgeous views and serene surroundings. Rosie & Thomas were simply perfect hosts, which we had come to expect from our first experience with the couple. Highly recommended place to stay for those seeking a peaceful getaway; with easy access to both the rural and sub-urban parts of Germany. No doubt we will be back in the near future :)

Cathrin's apartment is very nice and personally decorated and located on the upper floor of her house, which is on a large property. We felt very comfortable there. There is everything you need for a successful stay: a beautiful kitchen as well as comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep and, not to forget, the cozy living room with the swing sofa. In addition, books and books with lifting tips are available in the apartment. If you have any questions, Cathrin is there for her guests. She is a very likeable and friendly hostess. We will be happy to come back!

Linda and Stephan's place was the ideal getaway for our family with young children. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in their beautiful, welcoming space. The garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful retreat with plenty of room for the kids to play and explore safely. The toys and books provided kept our little ones entertained for hours, making it a stress-free experience for us. The kitchen was fantastic—spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a professional coffee apparatus that made mornings a real treat. The hosts, Linda and Stephan, were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend their place to families seeking a relaxing, kid-friendly retreat. We can't wait to return!

Extraordinary living space, a little timeless also with a family and feminine atmosphere, really spacious, a beautiful garden around, horses not too far away, easy to park. A real disconnection, super comfortable bedding, finally enough to cocoon a good time with a large kitchen to prepare good dishes. I discovered and recommend in Leer a tea room "Antik Café" Brunnenstrasse. An equally magical place with a welcome atmosphere at tata-cakes. Cakes are made with respect for the art. Quite rare...

What a lovely house with top garden and facilities this is. Whatever you want to do... it's possible here. And everything is also very clearly stated. If you need to know something, you'll get a quick response to your question. Simply: great!

Lovely spacious house, unobstructed view of meadow with sheep. Located 20 meters from very nice Bistro with large terrace (same driveway). Both bedrooms have their own shower. Kitchen with plenty of stuff and good oven and microwave (nb no stove). Very nice late check out in sunday.

Our stay with Margriet corresponded in all points to the photos and description. The house spacious, especially downstairs with large dining table and enough seating for 8 people. Tastefully styled, practical and plenty of kitchen utensils, a beautiful sun terrace and a super boathouse with canoes and saps, the absolute highlight for the grandchildren. They didn't expect anything like that (because grandma had missed it in the description). Therefore, this was our absolute highlight at Margriet's. Martina and family in April 2025

Nice cottage in a quiet holiday park where you can stay well with 8 people. It is a nice and quiet area where there is more than enough to do, but due to the jacuzzi it is also wonderful to stay in the cottage. In addition, there is a large garden near the cottage where you can sit comfortably. We had a nice weekend!

Our stay at Philippe’s place in Hatten was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, Philippe made us feel more than welcomed—like part of the family. The house itself was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was Philippe’s exceptional hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was smooth and enjoyable, helping us with things we didn’t even expect. His local tips and personal assistance made a huge difference and added a special touch to our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
