From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

The location is perfect: it is close to nature and central - borders DIRECTLY on the nature reserve and apart from the ski and toboggan meadow, the Wurmberg cable car (250 m) and the town center are also accessible. The apartment is located in an old forester's house, "das Krafthaus", which was built in 1902. It can accommodate 4 to 8 people (please read the description). The powerhouse is located on the edge of the forest, surrounded by nature. The Schalker pond is within walking distance. ...... We offer a laundry package for €10 per person (towels, blankets and pillowcases). The visitor's tax is €3.00/night for adults and €1.65/night for children aged 6 and over.

FW Gustav - the perfect base for your Harz vacation

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of an old farmhouse. The farm, which used to be completely closed, was decisively shaped by Gustav Neuhoff, the hostess's grandfather. Hence the name FW Gustav. The nearest shops are in Derenburg, 6 km away. Heudeber is a quiet village, but the nearby A36 offers quick connections to the highlights of the Harz Mountains. Wernigerode, Halberstadt, Quedlinburg and Goslar can be reached in about 25 minutes.

At the edge of the Breitenberg forest near the historic Winuwuk coffee house is the "Villa Lotte." The duplex apartment in the attic is a nice starting point for hikes around Bad Harzburg, via the idyllically located racetrack grounds to Goslar or via the Käste cliff to the Romkehaller waterfall. This is how to stay on vacation: Three double bedrooms and three shower rooms, a superbly equipped kitchen, fireplace, dining room, small pantry kitchen on the slope, a large furnished terrace area and a fantastic view of the Harz Mountains from everywhere. A double bedroom and a shower room are located on the sloping floor and are accessible via a rustic staircase from the first floor.

The flat is lovingly furnished and has a large balcony with a breathtaking view. Situated a few hundred metres away from St. Andreasberg, it is wonderfully quiet, yet everything is within walking distance.
