Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Indian Lake

Our February stay at Camp Blantons, Old Forge was fantastic! Bridget was a superb host and extremely helpful. The house was very clean and well-equipped. There is a spacious entryway which was great for all of our winter gear. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room which has many oversized windows for viewing nature. The wood burning stove in the living room added to the warmth of the house. There are three bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable and cozy. In addition, there are two full bathrooms which made it perfect for two couples. Finally, the property is beautiful, it was a winter wonderland surrounded by tall pines and there is a large pond that we snowshoed around. We enjoyed watching the deer on the snowy landscape. The area is quiet and just a short drive to town. We highly recommend staying at Camp Blantons for your next visit to the Adirondacks!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were stunning from the moment you pulled into the driveway and from every window in the house! It was family friendly, our kids loved this house, the kids book shelf and the closet of toys and kid amenities! Anna was super responsive from check in day to check out! We were very happy with our stay and not only are we ready to go back, our kids are already asking for another vacation there!! Highly recommend!

We have been renting in Old Forge for years. Properties have ranged from rustic cabins to homes. This property was hands down the best. The location was peaceful and serene, yet close to town. It was very clean and had everything you could think of! The property owner/manager was very helpful. Communication was excellent and check-in/out process was smooth. I would HIGHLY recommend.

This house was amazing. We were in town to celebrate my daughter’s wedding and had friends and family stay with us. It was plenty big enough for 7 adults, 2 teen agers and my 12 yr old son. It was fresh and clean and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the basement was nice to hang out and unwind after a day of shopping. Great hosts. I would definitely book again and recommend to anyone. Price is very reasonable for families traveling together or couples. 5 Stars!

Brianna is a wonderful host, very friendly, always available and ready to help in anything we may need. The house is like a Dream House. Lovely living room with a fireplace, TV and a big and comfy sofa. Every room in the house was excellently decorated with a high test and good sense of space making you feel warm and welcome, like your own home. The surroundings are so beautiful that you even have a river running in the backyard. Like fairytale stories. The most amazing thing is the Kitchen fully equipped with seasonings, coffee, tea and beautiful crockery and pot sets. Everything you may need for a memorable vacation is here! We loved this place and definitely we're going to come back. Thank you very much Brianna, you're amazing!

Don’s beautiful VanHoevenberg Ridge has become our home base in the ADK, and a “home away from home” where we return several times a year to relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and lakes in all seasons. This is by far the best place we have stayed since we have been coming to the ADK for over 30 years. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you’ll be back! Don’s place has everything you’ll need, and is near to everywhere you’ll want to go. The views of the High Peaks are stellar, and the hot tub is relaxing after an active day outdoors. Don is a welcoming host who truly cares that his guests have the best experience, whether avid hikers or simply wanderers seeking serenity and renewal in the woods and waters near his home. He respects your privacy, but is happy to provide his knowledge of the area to find the best hike or paddle for you. This place is our North Star in the ADK: bright, constant, and a place we’ll always look to return to. We recommend it highly to everyone!

Super convenient location. Minutes away from town but still very private and peaceful. Jill was very communicative and helped with recommendations. Apartment was clean and wonderful. Very spacious and comfortable. Hot tub is a definite plus. Would highly recommend.

We had a good stay for one night on the way to a sky resort. The location was good for us. The house is spacious. The communication was good.

We had a great time staying here again— this is a spotless, well-maintained apartment close to all the winter sports and hiking available in and around Lake Placid—a quick trip to Whiteface as well. Communication with Carlo is always easy and fast. It’s a perfect place for a couple looking for a winter getaway!

We had an amazing time, the house is beautiful and very well located. Would suggest this place for others in the future! The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was gorgeous.

The walk to restaurants and bars is under 10 minutes, and you pass beautiful homes and buildings along the way. If you choose to drive, parking is easy. Saratoga Springs has wonderful parks and good walking paths.

It’s hard to say just a few words this day we had. From the minute we pulled up to the minute we walked in the door. It was like we left for a true Retreat. It’s more than I expected. I was more than glorified with everything about this Airbnb you could still walk to Main Street. You have to have some good legs cause it’s a steep hill up and down. The most beautiful part was it was a walk away from having such a great evening to feeling like you’re in the most Remote Hallmark type of situation in the cabin.

A wonderful place to relax after local hikes and outdoor activities. Would be great in all seasons, and would happily return! Thanks Chris!

Great place to relax, enjoy nature and peace & quiet. Lovely scenery and while separate from any commotion, easy to get to anywhere you need to get to in the Lake George area. Host was proactive and responded quickly, cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. Definitely coming back!

We came for the weekend to get away for our anniversary and loved it! The cabin was cute and cozy. The property was beautiful with lots of space for our pups and I loved hanging out by the little creek. Super close to the nearby town but still secluded and felt very private.

Amazing location to xc ski at Garnett Hill (right down the road about 5-10 mins) or Gore Mtn to ski (about 15 mins away). The location is very peaceful and the house itself is a great mix of updated and cabin cozy. We have two young boys ages 6 and 3 and found the layout to be kid friendly and safe, no issues with the stairs. The host even left a high chair in the entertainment room ( which we didn't use but was a nice feature for families with young kids). We found the amenities to be great, it was comfortable to stay and cook in the kitchen and use all the appliances--we used the coffee maker, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave. The showers were warm and bathrooms were updated and nice. We all took full advantage of the wood stoves and sauna after skiing and playing in the snow. Amenities are within 10-15 mins in North Creek, we found the food options at Tops to be great. Would recommend to any families or outdoor seekers!

A return visit to Norman's cabin in the woods outside of Indian Lake. It is an incredibly comfortable space with a well equipped kitchen and many amenities. It was an ideal place with easy access to ski areas and great for hunkering down during a snow storm. Thanks!

We had a great stay at the Bear cabin this weekend! Cabin was equipped with everything needed. It was a cold weekend outside so coming back to the warm gas stove was nice and heated cabin well. Great location, short drive to both lake George and Gore Mountain. This was our second stay at the cabin and look forward to another visit.
