The Pension is a cosy, old, family hotel high in the Alps only reachable by cable car. We have kept the character and style of the old Swiss mountain hotel (including low ceilings) featuring the history of the building and the village. Gimmelwald itself is car free and world famous as an example of a traditional farming village, some of the buildings are 400 years old. The Pension is a place of peace. Gimmelwald is the perfect escape from the rush of modern life, the ultimate getaway.

The traditional Spannort - Your family-home with common kitchen and Self Check-In is located right in the centre of Engelberg, close to the train station, free shuttle-bus to the lifts, sightseeing and shops. The perfectly equipped common kitchens, the separated children playroom and sitting area in the 1th floor are inviting all guest to use for free. The Walser Hotel is situated in the south of Switzerland at the entrance of the picturesque village of Bosco Gurin.
