Waterfront holiday rentals in Ireland

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and it exceeded all my expectations! The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The attention to detail in the decor made it feel cozy and welcoming, and the amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect – close to local attractions yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. Dominic was incredibly responsive and went out of their way to make sure the stay was enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again in the future. If you’re looking for a great spot for your next trip, this is it! Highly recommended!

Clew Bay was outstanding to stay at. Patricia was extremely welcoming and helpful in helping us get settled in. We had to hunker down a bit to wait out Storm Eowyn but Patricia invited us into her personal home for some delicious scones and tea. The surrounding area is also very serene and beautiful. We had a direct view of Clew Bay and it was only about a 20 minute walk to get into the Westport city center. Would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay at Justin’s place. It absolutely exceeded our expectations, gorgeous sunset views in the evening, with the option of a hot tub! Very good value for money and we’ll definitely visit again.

Although the pictures are highly accurate they don’t convey how beautiful and relaxing this place is. Definitely the perfect location within 5 min walk to the key area in dwtn Galway yet super peaceful.

Had a great stay for 3 nights. Everything was as mentioned in the listing, but the photos don’t really capture the amount of space you have at your disposal. The views from the apartment are great and everything you need is within walking distance. I recommend Little Richard’s Pizza, Gerry’s Fresh Foods and Stoop Your Head (seafood restaurant on the front). Valerie left some scones, bread and milk which was very appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and was a joy to cook in. The heating was set for certain times so we didn’t have to worry about being cold, and it was especially nice turning up on the first day to a warm place. I would defintely return to Skerries and rent Valerie’s place again.

An amazing stay in the most beautiful apartment situated beside the beach. Anne and her husband were amazing and attentive , leaving logs outside for us for the fire and just being so friendly , when I was leaving Anne gave me money to get a coffee for the drive home and to think of her !! The cutest people !! Thank you so much

Just back from our trip at the Buttermilk apartment Portnablagh,we had a fantastic time we did not want to leave!We could of easily stayed another few days as we loved the apartment so much and the area!, the apartment was great so clean tidy and cosy with the stunning views of portnablagh harbour we will definitely be back again, thank you so much for having us Alan and joanne! We were kicking ourselves, not only is this the most homely place to stay leaving the home raised duck and chicken eggs and bread for our breakfast was awesome; we should have stayed 2 to 3 days in Ballyshannon as we discovered great people and awesome walks and views. we are so thankful for your styling of the unit, heating on especially since we needed it and truly hope many more people visit you and your area. you started our Holiday perfectly thankyou Norita xxxxx from all of us Aussies

Excellent stay! David was very helpful-meet us when we arrived, showed us around, even provided some basic needs like milk and bread. The place was very clean and comfortable. Washer/dryer was a challenge but David did warn us in advance to be proactive. It’s not far (20/30 min) from Roscommon tourist things to do and Carrick on Shannon. I would stay again for sure and would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Would highly recommend. The house was spotless, very well kept. The beds were all extremely comfortable, all with fresh linen. The view was amazing. The house is right on the water. The gardens and estate was an excellent place to go for a wander and explore. Paul was an excellent host. We cant wait to come back again

We had a fabulous stay at waterfront cottage. We came to explore keem bay and also visit the 2 incredible sculptures by artist Mark Rode in the town and the cottage is perfectly places to visit both. Very comfortable beds and my husband said they were the best pillows he's had in any airbnb. The kitchen is very well equipped and we found the place to be very spacious for a cottage. Would suit a family of 3 or 4 very well. Lots of storage space and each bedroom having its own bathroom felt like a real luxury as well as a WC downstairs. Lourda's place has such a warm and welcoming feeling about the place and is incredibly well kept. A real home away from home. Local Newport centra supermarket is well stocked and two great butchers in the town as well it had all we needed for 3 nights for sure. Thank you Lourda for the delicious homemade bread too...it was a lovely surprise on arrival!

We stayed for two nights. Had a very comfortable stay after Christmas, house had lovely decorations. The essential items in the fridge and throughout the house were much appreciated. House is perfectly located for a nice scenic walk to town. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Teresa’s Airbnb! We traveled with our dogs, and from the start, Teresa made us all feel incredibly welcome. Her warmth and kindness made the experience feel like a true home away from home. Unfortunately, we had a minor accident that caused some damage, but when we reached out to let her know, Teresa’s only concern was for our well-being. Her understanding and compassion really sets her apart as a host. If you’re looking for a place where you and your furry friends will be welcomed with open arms and genuine hospitality, Teresa’s place is it! Highly recommend and can't wait for our next stay!

Amazing stay in this picturesque cottage, Jacqui and Stephen were so helpful and informative , kept in constant touch and provided loads of helpful info.-The perfect hosts. Pictures don’t do this home justice, the views are breathtaking , from every area in the cottage , and hot tub and outside space a real added bonus. House was spotless, everything we could have possibly needed was available within the cottage. We were also provided with a large basket full of supplies for the stove which was a lovely touch, will defo be back here , couldn’t recommend enough. Would give more than 5 stars if I could, do urself a favour and book this cottage- the most chilled and relaxing break we have had in a long time.

This home is quite lovely, but the location is the reason why we booked it, and we were not disappointed. If you love the sea this is a spectacular choice of a place to stay. You could stand at the end of the garden for hours looking out over the sea, and within 60 seconds you could walk down to a beach that only 4 houses could reach, so it was almost entirely private. In our 3 days there we only saw one neighbour walking his dog once. We spent hours down there. The windy winter weather gave us stunning waves to enjoy. We had great tips on local spots for food and activities as well, so all in all a wonderful place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very comfortable with the most amazing views of lake Conn. Mary was a great host and we had a lovely time.

My favourite air bnb i’ve stayed in so far. Had everything you could possibly need, lots of mirrors, spotless and the host was very nice to deal with.

Wonderful space and great location!

Location, location, location! I could sit all day at the window and watch the sea traffic go by and the wildlife on the water. The kitchen is great and very easy to work in.

Catherine's place is very organised and clean. The building it is in in very quiet and there is parking which is a plus. If you are a happy walker, then getting to the high street is no problem at all. We walk a lot, but did land up driving in to town for dinner because we weren't sure about walking back late and the weather was not overly cooperative. Very quick drive in - under 10 mins. It was about a half hour walk to the high street through a lovely park and just over half an hour walk to the start of the Parkrun up the Western Way if you are interested in that. Both can be driven. It's pretty busy in town, so finding parking just on the side of the street during the day was interesting. Rather walk. If the weather had been a little less wet, we wouldn't have used the car at all.

We had a great time, it’s a great location right at the beach and close to cafes and a supermarket. It’s fine for 5 people, the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Aileen is a great host.

We had a great stay. The location is incredible, especially in good weather! The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. Changed my booking from 2 adults to 4 adults last minute and it was no problem or extra charge which was great. We got the Corrib tour that sailed at 11.15 from the pier outside the house and it was fantastic, highly recommended. (Goes at 11 possibly sone days - there's a mobile number on the cabin by the pier to check). Thanks Annette & Simon.

Great apartment, located centrally in Killybegs. Liam and Clementine provided clear instructions on the location and how to access the apartment before we arrived. The apartment was in great condition. No complaints!
