Era Mar originated from a rehabilitation project of a typical Algarvian old house, idealized and designed by the hostess. The layout of the house was maintained but the spaces were redesigned in order to make it comfortable, practical and functional. The colors used in the decoration are reminiscent of the sea and the Ria, the rocky beaches and fine sand, sunrise and sunset on hot summer days.

There are restaurants close by but some close out of season. 5 min by car from the center of Isla Cristina. A/C and heat in each room + 2 portable radiators. One double bed 135 cm, 2 beds 90x200cm, 1 sofa cama 120 cm when opened.

The nearby bird reserve is a mecca of all ornithologists. The complex is adjacent to the charming town of Ayamonte.
