Monthly Rentals in Isla del Ciervo

We stayed here for 8 weeks from mid February, the weather wasn't good for half of the time but the last 3 weeks were lovely. The location of the house is ideal and the view is gorgeous. The spa supermarket is a 5 min walk away and the nearest bar, Flow is literally across the road and very reasonable. La Manga in winter is very quiet and many places were closed, but we found more bars and restaurants were opening up the longer we stayed there. Lara is very easy to contact and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious, with a large fridge/freezer and plenty of pots, pans, utensils, so very easy to cook and eat in.

We really enjoyed the apartment and it has tremendous views of the Mar Menor with a nice sized balcony to enjoy it from. You get great sunrise and sunset views which can even be enjoyed from the living room. Being 3 bedroom there was plenty of space for the two of us and it's equipped sufficiently for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The apartment block's well maintained with friendly residents and staff and only 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and a well stocked Spar supermarket. Its location is also peaceful and safe at night. The tennis club nearby is a lovely place to have a few evening drinks and there's 3 good local restaurants we particularly enjoyed, Chiringuito, Piccolo Mare (more for Indian food) and El Secreto. The only suggestion is a house book with information about the appliances, local transport, amenities etc, which would have been useful. It would save having to request information from the hosts directly although Nano responded promptly to us.

I found a home the two weeks I was there. From the welcome details, how the house smelled and the bedding, to the views, with some dreamy sunsets.. unbeatable. The main room overlooks the nautical club in addition, and you can see the sunrise, with an ideal table to be watching while you have your coffee. There is a magical atmosphere. Óscar was attentive at all times. Definitely if I need to get away at any other time, I wouldn't choose another place. Thank you!!
