Monthly Rentals in Islesboro

Carries house on Isleboro was exactly what we hoped! It was like stepping back in time with modern amenities. Waking up and having coffee on the porch at the waters edge was an amazing way to start the day. Our teenagers loved the freedom of kayaking around the bay …and we loved that we could still see them! We biked to the store when we needed something, bought fresh lobsters off the boat and had fire on the beach. It was such a relaxing and fun vacation! What a cute little bungalow. A one room wonder. Milk House was easy to get to and had a couple walks to ocean views. Right on the main road but very quiet. We were prepared for the limited kitchen & were able to make 3 fabulous dinners. Get ready to unwind & unplug.

We stayed for 6 nights and ended up getting l engaged here, making the trip truly unforgettable! The boathouse was right by the water, so we could hear the waves while cooking and relaxing by the fire. It had everything we needed and felt like home. We’ve always loved Maine, and this stay made it even more special. We will always cherish our time here and would 100% recommend it to others!

The cabin was great. Great location, beautiful view. The cabin had everything we needed. There was a fire going in the gas stove when we got there, very welcoming and cozy. The beds were comfortable, each bedroom having a bathroom was perfect. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to Mid-Coast Maine!
