Staying at this traditional Japanese house was an unforgettable experience. The home is full of charm, beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that made it both authentic and comfortable. The peaceful garden, tatami mats, and wooden architecture created such a serene atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. Having coffee in the morning at Diane's place looking at the mountains on one side and the gorgeous Seto Sea on the other was worth the trip to Omishima all on its own! I highly recommend this special place for anyone wanting a true Japanese stay in a beautiful setting!

My family of five stayed for a week.The host was very kind and made us feel at ease and had a good time. While retaining the goodness of an old-fashioned house, the water area was beautifully renovated and I was able to use it comfortably. I stayed in spring this time, but I would definitely like to visit in various seasons.

The plane was delayed for about 1 hour and 30 minutes due to the weather. The host picked me up and waited for me at the airport during that time. I was touched and grateful for his consideration and understanding. While traveling abroad several times I used an Airbnb accommodation for the first time, and I was more than satisfied. I think the bedding set is the most important thing when traveling I especially liked that the blanket and mattress were comfortable and cozy. I felt the host's consideration for using a good goose duvet.

The old house has been renovated and was very clean and stylish. There was no close house, so we had a relaxing stay.

Beautiful little cottage in Edashima, very close to beaches and a short drive from restaurants and conbinis. Extremely comfortable place and a great experience overall.

the bbq set, water server, and coffee were very helpful.

The house is nice and in a good location for island activities. It matches the description and photos. The small restaurant Mikotoya next to the house is a real favorite.

I used it for the first time.He was a really polite and kind person! Thank you for sending me a greeter when you check in and when you check out! This time it was one night and two days, so it was only for me to sleep, but I felt it was a waste to just go to sleep.We'd love to stay again if we can!And I'd love to go to the bakery! Thank you!

Great place to stay, especially if you are travelling with animals! Just be weary that there are no elevators, so if you are on the 5th floor you have to climb the winding tight stairs. But if that’s ok for you, then it’s a great spot!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was vibrant and full of great restaurants, bars, and shops. We also appreciated how walkable the area was. Many sights and local spots could be reached easily on foot.

It's a good place within walking distance to the center of the city. Overall, our stay was really nice, but there were a few quirks (which we were aware of in advance): 1. There's no elevator in the building, so you have to walk up the stairs. 2. There's no front door in the building, but the doors to the apartments seem secure. Also, the neighborhood felt safe. 3. The apartment got rather cold, so we had to heat it with AC.

There is plenty of parking nearby, so you don't have to worry about parking.There is also a slightly narrow coin parking in the passageway. The room was spacious for four people, with a gentle floor where pets don't slip, and the dog was in a good mood.There were gauges, toilets, and rice dishes for the dog, and we had a relaxing stay. We had a relaxing stay with our pets, and we were able to enjoy sightseeing the next day. Thank you very much.

Even though I had a lot of time to check in, they were responsive and accepted my needs. Even when inquiring, it was resolved amicably without any inconvenience by responding quickly. The accommodation was clean and well organized, so I was able to relax comfortably during my stay.

The accomodation exceeded our expectations! The place looked exactly like the photos and it was super close to heaps of other places. We definitely enjoyed our visit :)

I used it without any particular inconvenience. The open-air bath was the best.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. We loved the beds and bedding, as well as the sauna and onsen. The host was very communicative and directions for getting to the cabin and for getting in and checking out were very clear. A tip for future visitors would be to bring drip coffee, as there is not a coffee machine. The area and the cabin were so beautiful and we cannot wait to return over and over.
