WINTER WEEKEND SPECIAL: Free bottle of white or red wine! With large glass windows and sliding glass doors facing beautiful Skaneateles Lake, this small (420 sq ft) but complete living space is perfect for 1 or 2 vacationing adults or a corporate traveler in town for a short stay. Aerus Active Pure treated environment. Renovated in 2017 and still looks great. High end kitchen appliances, indoor gas fireplace, AC, washer and dryer make this a complete living space. No smoking or pets allowed.
What guests are saying:“I booked John’s guest cottage during the coronavirus epidemic just to get away and spend some quarantine time with some fresh air, scenic views, and to catch a break from the normal rise and grind. What a quaint and well thought out use of space! This cottage is a perfect size for two. John set up an air purifier that had been proven to eliminate the SARS virus as well. Although John’s home is in the line of view of the lake, the cottage is off to the side so you can still take in the scenery from the guest cottage, and of course you have access to the dock area. We had come too early in the season to have the dock ready for use, but that was just a minor downside. The lake itself is so clear, blue and clean! There are nearby trails and waterfalls for a nice hike. It was a special circumstance where everything was pretty much closed, but all in all, I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Skaneateles Lake!”

What guests are saying:“This place is amazing! Everything was perfect, down to the provided s’mores kit. My friends and I were very comfortable, and loved our time there. The lake was great once you got out past the dock. Right at the shore there was some algae but it was very easy to avoid. The walk down to the water was a quick one with a well maintained path. The area around the cottage was peaceful, and had plenty of things to do a short driving distance (finger lakes wineries, Lake Ontario beaches, Destiny USA mall). I would highly recommend this place to anyone!”
Cozy, private apartment attached to main house, no entry between house and apartment, completely separate with separate partially fenced backyard, located 20 minutes from downtown Syracuse, 20 minutes to Oswego, 15 minutes to Onondaga Lake Park.
