Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kaag en Braassem

The place was just like the photos, lovely and clean and nice extras like paddle boards for on the lake and a hot tub to relax in at the end of a day sightseeing. Great comfy furniture which was nice. Super quiet surroundings and a lovely sunset if you get back early enough. Used as a base for the tulip fields and Amsterdam. Would return again without question if a holiday took us back in this direction.

Wir wurde sehr herzlich von Karin und ihrem Mann empfangen und auch der Kontakt während unseres Aufenthaltes dort war sehr angenehm! Vielen Dank! Die beiden waren sehr flexibel mit den check-in/check-out Zeiten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es hat an Nichts gefehlt. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und man kann tolle Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad machen.Durch die schönen Blumenfelder zu radeln war traumhaft! Auch die Ausflüge zum Strand/Meer kann man gut mit dem Rad machen. Dort hat es tolle Beach Clubs mit leckerem Essen. Auch das nahe gelegene Städtchen Leiden lohnt es zu besuchen. So wie Delft, Haarlem oder Utrecht. Alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Wir waren eine Woche mit unserem Hund dort. Es folgte eine warme, herzliche Begrüßung (care Paket mit selbst gemachter Marmelade, Wassernapf mit dem Namen unseres Hundes) und vielen Tipps für die nähere Umgebung. Als wäre das nicht genug, haben wir am folgenden Tag sogar noch einige Stücke selbst gemachten Kuchen mit Obst aus dem eigenen Anbau erhalten. Einfach köstlich 😋 Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft wirklich gerne weiter, weil wir uns pudelwohl gefühlt haben und alles unkompliziert verlaufen ist.

This is a fantastic place to stay especially if you want to cycle or walk the bulb fields in the spring, which is what we wanted to do and they are right on your doorstep here. There is an amazing beach just a short drive/cycle away, and Haarlem and Leiden are both lovely cities and an easy bike ride. The house was spotless and really spacious, it is just as the photos show. I particularly liked the private courtyard, with its own access at the back which also had a shed perfect to store the bikes safely.

Extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts. Beautifully equipped kitchen; quiet and beautiful surroundings; easy access by bike to beautiful beaches and dunes; centrally located for easy access to major cities and attractions like Delft, Leiden, den Hague and to Keukenhof and Kinderdijk. There was unexpected construction in the area and hosts went WAY above and beyond what we could have reasonably expected to minimize the impact on our visit.

Eine sehr schöne, kleine Unterkunft und für drei Personen ideal. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Sehr gepflegte Wohnung sowie Umgebung. Nachbarn sind auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Excellent property that was accurately described. My family loved the peaceful atmosphere. The market, bakery, and excellent restaurants were easy walking distance. Wendy Jane was very responsive to all my questions. Only thing of note is ensuring you have transportation figured out. Relying on Uber can get expensive vs renting a car.

Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus ist toll ausgerichtet, sehr modern und stylisch. Jannie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und außerdem eine sehr talentierte Künstlerin. Ihre Bilder verleihen dem Haus noch mehr Stil und eigenes Flair. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Spacious apt that was centrally located. We loved walking around to great restaurants and bars, and it was easy to take subway or tram to where we wanted to go.

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

We had a great three night stay at Sylvia’s & Eric’s, easy walk to metro line to get into Delft, Rotterdam or The Hague. Grocery store a few blocks w/ATM so got some Euros using our MC Debit Card. Kitchen had microwave, oven and two burner hotplate. Bed was comfy, we are two bigger guys and had no problem with space. Shower was great, plenty of hot water & pressure & towels. Could use a new pan or two but Sylvia let us borrow one. W&D used for three loads (10 euros), was in their home so had limits in terms of use, but generous w/availability. Drip coffee maker & small French press, offered free coffee which was nice. No paper products like napkins / paper towels, and needs more than just salad forks to use. Body wash & shamp yes, needs conditioner as well. Patio area nice, table & chairs in their back garden area, free parking on site, nice n’hood. Cold floor, (slab) apt below home w/ good lighting. Wash cloths, foil needed. Overall very pleased highly recommend, nice & quiet

Excellent séjour passé a Wassenaar, Hans a été un hôte exemplaire, très accueillant et réactif, mettant même une bicyclette a disposition pour faciliter les déplacements ! L'endroit est très paisible et idéal pour se ressourcer.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Marc und Joke sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt toll am Fluss, es gibt einen schönen Sitzplatz draußen und alles ist schön hell, ruhig und freundlich eingerichtet Die beiden sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad da und in Rotterdam lässt es sich ganz wunderbar fahren.

Mariettas Haus liegt in dem schönen Städtchen Muiderberg, von wo aus wir drei Tage lang völlig unkompliziert nach Amsterdam gependelt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, ist umgeben von alten Bäumen und vielen alleinstehenden Villen. Die Wohnung eingerichtet, es gab kleine Begrüßungsgeschenke wie Pralinen, Käse und Wein. Vielen Dank hierfür. Nach Besichtigungstagen in der Stadt haben wir die Abends in Muiderberg am Strand ausklingen lassen. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.

We were thrilled with Jurjen’s place. Homey and lush, clean and vibrant. We were so happy to be there. Jurjen provides clear instructions and wonderful recommendations. Per his suggestion we rented a boat & that was one highlight of our trip! Jurjen’s place is the best example of Airbnb that I’ve stayed. The kitchen is completely stocked with very nice quality. The beds are comfortable after long days exploring. Truly a gem. Amsterdam is a hip and magical city and this home is all that and more.

Traumhafte und sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit tollem Garten zum Entspannen. Die Sonne war leider nur kurz da, aber im Sommer ist der Garten wie ein zweites Wohnzimmer. Sehr zu empfehlen :)

Charmante petite maison avec tout le nécessaire et entourée de champs de fleurs en avril. L'emplacement est magnifique, tout près des lieux d'intérêt à proximité. Liesbeth est une hôte très attentionnée. Nous recommandons fortement, en particulier si vous souhaitez découvrir la région lors de la saison des tulipes.

We had a great stay at Inez‘s cottage. It was rather easy to find and Inez gave us very helpful instructions. The parking space is close to the cottage. The beds were comfortable and there were insect nets on the bedroom windows which was great for airing the cottage. It was very peaceful and spacious. We would definitely stay there again. I proprietari di casa sono stati molto disponibili durante tutto il nostro alloggio. La zona è molto bella e la casa offre tutti i servizi necessari per poter passare del buon tempo. Se si vuole fare una vacanza per visitare Amsterdam, purtroppo, la zona non è ben collegata, sopratutto alla sera. I mezzi di trasporto sono molto limitati perché c'è solo una linea che passa una volta all'ora e durante il weekend ancora meno. Se il tipo di viaggio che si vuole fare è di relax e di scoperta di paesi limitrofi fuori dal centro città, è un'ottima soluzione per viversi territori tranquilli e immersi nella natura.

Britt’s place was perfect. Very private, easy parking, lots of room and walkable to the town. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Right in the middle of the flower fields. We would definitely stay again.

L'alloggio è davvero bello e grande con una zona living enorme. Si è in piena campagna con animali della fattoria e un coloratissimo pavone. I padroni di casa sono persone adorabili ed amichevoli sempre pronte a soddisfare l'ospite: la domenica preparano un ottimo buffet per il brunch e lo servono in giardino. abbiamo adorato la pace e la calma di questo luogo.

Wunderbar für einen Kurztrip in die Natur. Wir haben Ruhe und Natur gesucht und sie auch gefunden. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit gut erreichbar. Wir haben unsere Batterien aufgeladen und sind zufrieden wieder nach Hause gefahren. Der Strand und die Dünen sind nur ein paar Schritte entfernt - ideal für lange Strandspaziergänge! Der Blick auf die Pferde und die Ponys hat uns glücklich gemacht. Ab und zu kam eine Katze vorbei und man konnte wunderbar die Vögel beobachten, die um das Haus herum unterwegs sind. Ringsherum haben während unseres Aufenthaltes die Tulpen in allen Farben geblüht! Vielen Dank Tjeerd für deine Hilfe und Unterstützung in allen Belangen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
