Monthly Rentals in Kaladhungi

The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. The check-in was easy. The rooms were clean, beds all made up, toilets were well maintained. Kitchen was great. The best part was the location. It was beautiful, the property is surrounded by mountains, it is a quiet and peaceful place. The lake is just in front of the property. One thing I would like to add is that the lake is not accessible directly from the property, for that you have to go around the property, which is not much of a task though. The caretaker was helpful and could also cook food if told him beforehand. The only problem I encountered there was of mobile network. Jio network did not work there but Vodafone-Idea worked flawlessly. The place doesn't have a WiFi which is not a big issue, but would be cherry on top if made available. Overall the stay was excellent, the rooms were huge and there was also provision of bonfire.

We, family of 3 including a teen, stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days - and my experience as below. Found this after scouting many places/ reviews on airbnb - We were not let down when we checked in. Great host who was in constant touch since the time we booked our acco. Parking - is a little bit away from the resort, and would give yourself a nice little cardio but no worries as the staff help in getting your luggage across. Excellent support staff - Dhiraj and Tara Bhai - extremely helpful and warm. Though we drove down in our car, we hired a car to get to Almora and the staff helped us with their local contacts and arranged our local conveyance. Food - tell your preference in advance - some recommended - pahadi chicken curry/ dhal. Also must try their paneer and bread pakoras - surprisingly very light and fluffy. All in all - worthy of a stay if you wanted a place away from the hustle bustle of typical tourist commercials spots that can get over crowded - and this fit our bill.

Hemanshu's farm is a great place to unwind from the day to day city life. The place is in a valley surrounded by forest and the farms overlooking the mountains. The homestay is rustic and has all the necessary arrangements for a comfortable stay. The staff is helpful and polite, special mention to Harish who cooks extraordinarily delicious food. The food tasted fresh and amazing, especially the handi mutton, pizzas and the Kumaoni lunch. Hemanshu is quite helpful and easy to answer all the small but many questions I had before making the booking. We just felt that the food portion was not enough for the number of people especially for the complimentary breakfast and some of the items were slightly expensive (were at additional cost) for the breakfast. Though the latter was mentioned in the menu provided to us beforehand. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and Hemanshu has been a great host. Would love to visit again with family. *They have two cute dogs at the farm too :)*

I had a wonderful stay at Arjun’s place. It’s a beautifully located house at a height with lots of greenery and openness. The view of the jim corbett forests and the river is amazing. The breeze after the evening is so refreshing. Overall, a very good vibe of the place. Arjun and his family are very nice people. Their hospitality is totally amazing and rare to find these days. They helped me a lot in exploring the area, providing me home cooked delicious food and took care of me like their family member 🥰. More than beauty of the place, it’s the kindness of this family that I take along with me😇.. I would definitely look forward to visit them again very soon.
