Such a lovely location! I celebrated my daughter's birthday here with our two doggies, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful day. The garden and indoor spaces offer plenty of room, making it ideal for gatherings. The staff were exceptional—attentive, supportive, and genuinely helpful, which made everything run smoothly. I’m so glad I chose this Amy's Haven and can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay at this villa was absolutely fantastic! The villa was in excellent condition, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury with a breathtaking scenic lake view. What truly made our experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The convenience of being able to order our preferred food options at a very reasonable price added to the overall comfort of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We had a really pleasant stay at VillaMore. The location is ideal for those seeking for a calm place to isolate from the world. The house was very clean and comfortable, the terrase and the yard with a fantastic view to the ocean were our favorite place to hang out. Beautiful sunsets and very nice beach 20 meters from the house. Susan and Ravi were extremely helpful throughout the entire period of arrangement of the trip and the stay. Friendly, responsive and very nice people. Ranjith and Jayanthi living right next door were always there for help. Our family is very grateful for this memorable one week.

Great villa , right on the shore , with private access to the sea . Beautiful beach , right and left cafe , quiet . Huge windows, stunning views , the house has a lot of space and everything you need in the kitchen . The cafe is the next door with the villa ) well, very convenient ) the hostess is responsive and friendly , responds quickly to questions and helped with everything! We were here for our 25th Anniversary. This beautiful place is a peaceful oasis to relax and recharge. You could want for nothing. Senaka and his crew went above and beyond to make our Sri Lankan experience special and to always be warmly remembered. The staff anticipated and accommodated all of our requests. The food was amazing, and the tours fun, immersive, and informative. Meals were amazing, you will definitely not go hungry! Their breakfast was beautiful and ever changing. We had them do dinners for us and they were amazing, fresh and tasty. The team that takes care of you are truly what sets this apart! I miss all of them already. Contact the host if interested in touring the country and he can assist with some great tours! Highly recommended!

Highly recommended: Kurokawa Kalutara is absolutely outstanding and a wonderfully charming property. It is peaceful, quiet, well-maintained and well-located. Shamara was very helpful and accommodating of our requests. A special shoutout to her staff members at the property, who were absolutely wonderful and helpful. The chef - Tharindu Asiri - is an absolutely amazing cook and we really enjoyed the food he made, especially the children who were able to choose a number of things which they liked. We were all in the pool several hours a day - the pool overlooks the Kaluganga and the property is really serene and calm. In the evening we also saw bats flying overshead which was amazing. All in all Shamara, Tharindu and the others made my mom's 75th birthday stay, along with my extended family and children memorable. Sri Lanka is beautiful and the people are really friendly - thanks again!

My family and I loved the house and everything about it. As somebody mentioned before there are 3 bulls/cows, 4 dogs. They don’t bother you at all but the kids didn’t play as much as they wanted in the backyard because they were afraid of the bulls. The house is VERY clean, very comfortable beds and big bathrooms. And most importantly the staff are very respectful and helpful.

Fabulous location for a pit stop and views are amazing. The food was delicious, staff attentive and we stayed as a group and we all enjoyed it. Note bring mosquito repellent for the evenings if you wish to stay out:)

We had a great time staying at the villa. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was good, generous and served flexibly whenever we were ready. The garden and the pool are really pretty. Rohan was so accommodating and amazingly helpful with organizing transport and everything else we needed. The two dogs are really cute, especially goofy Mario. All in all I can really recommend staying at the villa, especially if you want to relax with a group of friends or family.

I would like to thank Maria and all the team for such a lovely holidays. Villa is extremely beautiful and in good location, it is very peaceful, the beach is just in front of the courtyard. Most importantly, I would like to mention people who were looking after us: Upali, Nando and of course our chef. Chef cooked the best food in all Sri Lanca, he was surprising us with the different cuisines and dishes. Upali and Nando were always attentive to all our need and extremely helpful. Great place to stay as a group or family in Wadduwa, the spaces and huge with a big pool and direct beach access. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home, the food prepared for us was some of the best Sri Lankan food we ate during our stay!

Villa Maggona is an absolutely beautiful property with the most amazing staff. Chef prepares fabulous fresh food, Stanley is a lovely person who will always advise and accommodate. A special mention must go to Sumrita who really is the most beautiful, kind soul who goes above and beyond in her role. She really wants her guests time at Villa Maggona to be special. The garden is maintained every day and the pool is beautiful. You won’t find so much as a fallen leaf lying around. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach are very relaxing. The beach is lovely for an evening stroll. We really did find this home to be a haven. One thing to consider is that you do have to have transport to go to a beach with amenities and/or activities. Tuk tuks are readily available, we used the Pickme app which allows you to book and pay cash once your journey is completed. I would definitely go back to VM and can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this beautiful property and the amazing staff working there.

We had a lovely stay at Ingels villa. It is situated right on the beach and had a big lovely pool. My kids loved jumping into the pool right after breakfast. The villa staff were very friendly and we were spoilt with amazing meals. As we could not access the kitchen it would be helpful if there had been some more facilities in the common area, like toaster, microwave and cutlery. That would allowed us to more easily make some food for the kids between meal times. We had some strong winds during our stay which made the sea a bit too rough to swim in for my kids and elderly parents, for the adults it was great and lovely to stay on a beach that was so quite and peaceful. The villa manager Senaka arranged some amazing day trips for us with lots of great experiences for both adult and kids. Our only issue is that we had only 4 days at the villa and wish we had more time!

Gorgeous villa with an amazing view of the lake and lots of space for four couples. The housekeeper, Dileep, was so proactive and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and offering drinks. We had an amazing barbecue on the last night and the food they cooked for us was always incredible, some of the best we had in Sri Lanka! The downstairs is open to the outdoors so expect some wildlife (geckos and mosquitos) - overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay with comfortable rooms and a pool with a perfect temperature!

Great place for a weekend away with friends or family. The pool area is as great as you see in the pictures. Clean and tidy place with a very helpful caretaker.

Best villa in Bolgoda area! Thank you for the fantastic service provided during our stay. The villa is a masterpiece of elegance, boasting spacious rooms, modern amenities, and exquisite decor. We were unable to find the location when we got there but Anill(Care Taker) was really helpful he literally came to where we were and guided us. Sri Lankan Breakfast was brilliant. Villa has a magnificent view and just views the serene water beneath the lovely sunset. The Villa was amazing. Hope to come back soon. Thanks Ayesha for consistently checking on us! ❤️🤩

Such a beautiful tranquil position set in the jungle environment …. Beach accessible via the readily available Tuktuk with the ever available villa manager. Though the spring water pool at the villa was more than enough for keeping cool

The villa with a pool was absolutely fantastic! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight, however, was the incredibly hospitable hosts. They were extremely helpful, always available, and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay special. Highly recommend!

After a long flight, we spent a relaxing few days at the villa. The villa itself was super clean and provided us with a massive space to relax and enjoy our time in Sri Lanka. We enjoyed spending time in the pool and jacuzzi, overlooking the beautiful lake. The villa staff scheduled a boat tour of the Bolgoda lake for us. The boat picked us up directly from the villa, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. They gave us a beautiful tour of the Bolgoda Lake, which is the largest natural lake in Sri Lanka. There are also other day trips and excursions (taking you to famous Sri Lankan attractions) which can be arranged through the villa staff. We felt very safe, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, as the villa provided a large space where we could spread out, while still being close to Colombo. The villa staff was very kind and helpful. The villa manager was able to arrange food and a driver for us during our stay. The food was delicious and authentic, being sourced from a local restaurant. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing, and memorable stay in Sri Lanka.

We would definitely return for longer next time. It is a lovely house and pool. Neighbors George and Astrid were very nice and helpful. Staff to clean pool, house and garden were very polite and efficient.
