You can enjoy journeys unique to this time of year, such as Kamikochi, which opened to the public in mid-April, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, and Hakuba, where snow still remains. Mountain sightseeing during the day and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. Recommended for those who want to enjoy Ikeda-cho at their leisure in early summer. We welcome guests for stays of one night or more, making it an ideal base for exploring Kamikochi and Hakuba. It is a convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe.Early summer is also a great time for sightseeing in the Northern Alps.Suitable for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. While you can get here by public transport, it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are travelling by train, there may not be a taxi available at the station, so we recommend planning your transport in advance. Free transfers are available from Akashina Station and Shinanomatsukawa Station.We can arrange paid transfers to Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, the Sawando Bus Terminal, and other locations upon request. * In May, only one night is available, on Monday 11 May.Please also use the property as a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba in early summer.

In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
