Holiday rentals with beach access in Kansai

We needed a place for six people and wanted to see the Wedded Rocks / Meoto Iwa. This for the bill! Hiro-san gave us a weather warning and, sure enough, there was a lot of rain. It was nice to have a warm place to stay after a very wet walk to the rocks. Hiro-san messaged promptly and was very responsive about checkon timing. We didn't have many questions, but I think he would've been great at that, too. FYI that the local restaurants are mostly family owned, so it is nice to call ahead if you can, especially in bad weather. If you need a place for a group stay, this one works well.

Great stay in Shirahama! The location is perfect, just a short walk to local restaurants and Shirahama Beach. The self check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

立地がよく新大阪駅からすぐたどり着けました。また室内設備は充実しており、スマートテレビが設置されていたのも嬉しかったです。また機会がありましたら泊まりたいです。

The place was impeccable. the termal bath was such a great experience. The host was very helpful, responsive, and flexible. I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the house and surroundings.

Chie and Iain were very kind and helpful hosts. The communication went very smooth. We felt very much at home and enjoyed our stay a lot. We would definitely come back another time!

子ども2人含む家族4人で滞在しました。非常に快適でした。普段はテレビばかり見ている子どもたちも音楽を聞いたり本を読んだりして過ごしていました。お隣の菊水さんもおすすめです。

We had a great stay at takamichi’s place! We visited during GOLDEN WEEK in may, which is the peak season in Japan. The house is located along the seaside, next to a sea view cafe also run by host takamichi. It was One of the best traditional houses we ever stayed in Japan. Bedroom is in tatami fudon style, my favourite thing is that there is a big kitchen with plenty of equipments / appliances to facilitate self cooking. super recommended for introvert travellers! By the time we visited Shodoshima some restaurants are unfortunately not welcoming non-Japanese speakers. (Singular case) There is a small supermarket by 15 mins walking distance, where you can find local fresh vegetables and shodoshima “somen”. We made ourselves a pot of “nabe” (Japanese style hotpot) with the fresh goods we found on the island. Yummy! Takamichi san is a friendly host who gives clear instructions and great amount of space for guests. He also set up a eco-friendly soil-based food waste recycling system.

海にもすぐいけて、バーベキューもできとてもよかったです！！ 油と醤油と塩と胡椒は準備されていました。 ありがとうございます。

The place looks better than the photos and is beyond our expectation. We all enjoyed the stay! Hot pot stove and pot will be provided upon request, we had shabu shabu during the cold winter night which is awesome! The place is spotlessly clean. Everything is great. The sun rise view from the room is spectacular.

部屋は十分な広さがあり、温泉も悪くなく、それでこの価格かという感想です。温泉旅館に素泊まりするには最適です。ただ、エレベーターが欲しかった。部屋の空きがまだありそうだったので、3階ではなく1階に案内してもらいたかったです。

We stayed for over a month and liked it a lot. Kids friendly. It is what the description says. Nothing fancy. It does have a decent onsen. The bedroom was larger than expected for Japan. The surrounding area where the hotel was looks somewhat abandoned and far from the main attractions of shirahama, but it was very immersed in nature in comparison to other options. We can definitely see ourselves booking again here.

1泊滞在致しましたが、もう少し長く滞在したい気持ちになりました！ のんびり過ごす事ができる宿泊施設です。 白良浜を一望でき、ロケーションは最高です！ また機会があれば、利用したいです！

施設は保養所を譲り受けたような雰囲気で古めですが、清掃はしっかりしています。また、お風呂が源泉掛け流しで非常に良かったです。

部屋がとても綺麗でテレビも大きく家電等も便利なものが多くてとても助かりました。また部屋からの景色もとても綺麗で友人にも積極的におすすめ出来るぐらい素晴らしいものでした。

房間露台可以望海、地點相當方便 如果有駕駛的話，可以直接停車在地下、直直接接可以乘坐升降機上樓、單車也可以停泊、10分好 衛生整潔也相當不錯、只需10分鐘步行時間便可以到琴平線及JR高松站 只是床褥稍為偏軟身、有點睡得不好 其他地方也想當滿意
