An old private house surrounded by rivers and forests, limited to one group per day. Here, you can enjoy your stay surrounded by sound, fire, water and stars. The music room has a grand piano, drums, guitar, and bass. During the pizza oven experience (separate charge), you’ll bake authentic Neapolitan pizza, and in the evening, you’ll enjoy a BBQ and sit around a bonfire while gazing at the starry sky and the Milky Way. In summer, you can play in the river right nearby and unwind in nature with a tent sauna (additional charge). Inside the traditional kominka house, there is a fully equipped kitchen, formerly a café, so you can cook together, or you can read quietly in the reading room. You can spend your "favourite time" freely. The bath is a ceramic tub made of Shigaraki ware. Please relax your mind and body slowly, while wrapped in the warmth of the fire lit with firewood and the scent of cypress. Spend time in your own space, not in a hotel, where no one will disturb you. Enjoy your time. A transfer service to and from the nearest station is also available. Hi there,Welcome to the Nishimura Residence.I’m Yuta Sugimoto, the host. The Nishimura Residence is a traditional Nara machiya townhouse over 110 years old.In 2019, I renovated ‘Grandma’s house’, where I spent a lot of time as a child, and opened it as an inn.As the Nara machiya has been preserved in its original state, it has many inconveniences and is not a luxurious hotel where everything is provided. 　Instead, I believe there is no better place than Naramachi to soak up the ‘comfortable rusticity’ that permeates the town.In the hope of helping guests ‘reflect and recover’ in an environment away from the hustle and bustle of the station area, we provide books in the room and a vegetarian breakfast.(Almost all of the books in the room are available for purchase.) 　Please spend this evening in the tranquil surroundings of the Nishimura residence and Naramachi, listening to the voice of your own heart.
