While retaining the old charm, we renovated it using Yoshino cedar and cypress to make it a relaxing place to stay. One private rental limited to one group per day. This is a detached single-story house with a private entrance at the back of the garden. It is located in Asukamura Kawahara, the center of the "Asuka" region where Yamato Takeru praised its beauty. Nearby, there are many attractions such as "Kohokuji Temple", where the first sutra was copied in Japan, "Tachibana Temple", the birthplace of Shotoku Taishi, and "Amakashi Hill", which overlooks Asuka Village and the Yamato Sanzan. This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
