Construction trailer in the garden On the heights of the Hunsrück, the construction trailer stands in our garden overlooking fields, forest and sunset. From here you can walk on hiking trails to the Mosel or the Rhine. The construction trailer has a bed, small kitchen and a wood stove. It is 100 steps to the shower and 200 to the toilet! Please bring your own SLEEPING BAG; this will help us and the climate. Parking directly by the construction trailer and electricity is also available. "Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

We are located in the middle of the popular hiking and cycling area Hunsrück between Moselle and Rhine. 10 dream loops invite you to hike and the Moselle/Rhine to cycle and linger. Castles and palaces (Eltz Castle, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, Cochem Imperial Castle) and the towns of Koblenz, Bernkastel-Kues, are waiting for you!

The vacation home is centrally located but quiet in the middle of the village. Restaurants and bike rentals are available. Kirchberg is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours, climbing, exploring the suspension rope bridge or visiting natural and adventure pools.

Located in Blankenrath, the holiday apartment Lora has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The 90 m² property consists of a living room with 3 sofa beds (2 for one person and one for 2 people), a fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), a smart TV with streaming services as well as children's books and toys. A baby cot and a high chair are also available.

From here you can start hiking, biking and sightseeing tours. The Hunsrück offers an infinite number of beautiful excursion destinations. The Moselle and Rhine are very close. Trier, Mainz, Koblenz, Cochem, as well as the German gemstone city of Idar-Oberstein, to name just a few examples, are also in the vicinity.

Our vacation home is located in a wildly romantic side valley between Hunsrück and Moselle and is only 9 km away from the well-known wine town of Zell Moselle. In Altlay, about 1.5 km away, there is a restaurant. Our vacation home is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer Bach flows right by the house. The picturesque, 200-year-old quarry stone building was renovated in 2022 and has a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating and an open fireplace.
