Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kelso

The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. For us, it was like home away from home. Karen added a lot of extras like milk in the fridge, biscuits for us and our dog when we arrived. She provided everything one would need especially spending time on the beautiful beaches, we needed space to hang our wet things, an outdoor (and indoor) clothes line and pegs. Love the hot water bottles, thankfully we did not need to use them. Karen was quick to respond and flexible with our arrival and departure times. Will definitely stay at Karen's when we visit Northumberland. Thank you Karen.

We love this place and felt very at home. Hot shower, comfortable beds, heating and all the modern appliances we needed with full kitchen. Anzelika has thought of everything and there was nothing we could suggest to improve her place, it’s just perfect.

We had a lovely stay with our dog. The house had everything we needed to be warm and comfortable. It is in a great location for walking into Seahouses, either on the costal path or on the road. Or walking the opposite way to Annstead beach and beyond. We will definitely book again for our next visit.

We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

The house was easy to find and as described. On arrival the house was clean and tidy, and the welcome pack most acceptable. The host was very helpful, and easily contacted. The 1 very minor problem we had was sorted very quickly. We would certainly recommend the property and would have no hesitation in using the property again.

My family and I stayed in Haylie’s property for a nearby wedding. The property was exactly as described, with plenty of character, comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Haylie provided everything guests could need and want for a stay, including toiletries and a well stocked kitchen. There are plenty of mirrors too for those groups needing to get ready for a special occasion. The area is very peaceful, with the nearest beach a short distance away. A lovely spot to have a cup of tea in the morning and listen to the birds! The nearest large supermarket is about 10 minutes away. I would recommend for couples and large parties looking to stay in the area. Thanks Haylie!

The caravan was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and right by the little pond - definitely the best spot in the holiday park! It had all the equipment we needed and there was lots to do for the children around the holiday park as well. Can't fault it really..

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the lovely welcome basket and essentials in the fridge. The cottage was perfect, very comfortable beds, and the facilities amazing- loved the pool, spa and outdoor areas. We’d love to come back.

Everything in the accommodation was kept clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped, so it was convenient to use.What was a little disappointing was that the bathroom shower leaked, so it was a little uncomfortable. Overall, it was a satisfactory accommodation.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a great week at Haggerston Castle. The lodge itself was in a superb location, a short walk from the main facilities. It was private, quiet and spacious inside. We would definitely book again!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and well put together. The free spa access was a nice bonus, especially after a long day out. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Mel was a very helpful and friendly host. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a quiet and peaceful break. Particularly good for the dog with the garden being fully enclosed and free to roam.

Diane was lovely, so helpful from showing us around to the very detailed instructions on all the facilities. Always on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is comfy and has everything you need. Loved the finishing touches and welcome pack which included dog treats. The beach, coastal trails and country park are a short walk away making it a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to return

we loved our stay in Longtown. Andrea's caravan was absolutely spotless, so comfortable and spacious for the 4 of us and our lab dog. the property have everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The shower was FANTASTIC! normally I dread caravan showers but this was bliss. Communication was ideal. Always a really prompt reply. We would love to book again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!

What a lovely cottage! Julie and Nigel's cottage is a real home from home, and it matches the photographs perfectly. Thoughtfully decorated, and made to feel homely with blankets, pictures, books etc. Homemade bread and delicious muffins, plus milk and tea and good coffee were most welcome. I appreciated the use of Eco friendly cleaning products and shampoos etc. Comfortable bed with cotton duvet cover and comfy pillows. Big, fluffy towels were great. There are maps and suggestions of places to visit and eat. Julie sent me some recommendations too which were helpful. Friendly neighbours who are keen to share information too. It is perfect for two people - and our dog was made ever so welcome too. Julie and Nigel were responsive to messages right from booking to the end of our stay.
