House holiday rentals in Kentville

Absolutely loved this home! It was exactly as described and was very close to restaurants & shops in downtown Wolfville. We will definitely be back again.

We are so grateful to Katelyn & Lee for helping us pull off a magical experience for our family (17 total) who spent 6 days at this gorgeous property. The Anchorage House has plenty of space to gather & lots of nooks for small groups or privacy. There are amble bathrooms, which is essential for a big group. The hot tub was delightful-hosts even stopped by to freshen it mid-stay. They recommended a local caterer, the Savary Plate, who provided incredible meals, but the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a large group (which we did one night) and even has a commercial dishwasher! The location is perfect-we made day trips to Lunenburg, Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Digby for whale watching—not to mention local beaches minutes away. But we were just as enchanted sitting on the porch or down on the dock (evening kayaking). If characters were unlimited, I could go on and on about this wonderful property, but I also must mention the thoughtfulness of our hosts who felt like friends.

We frequently travel as a large group and are used to splitting up due to our size, so finding a place that can accommodate all of us is a challenge. Melanie and Thomas went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and we couldn’t be more grateful. With 17 of us staying under one roof, you’d never guess there were so many—it was that spacious! The house is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen essentials to speakers and pool toys. Melanie and Thomas are truly the most kind and welcoming hosts we’ve ever encountered. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—just book it! Next time, we’re definitely staying for at least three nights because we weren’t ready to leave!

WFP &J.P were amazing. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an extra unexpected. Gustave will be very bored of Maple. Small review THAT IS NOT A REVIEW. The fridge isn't very big so don't do too big a grocery every time. We arrived with too many things and didn't get in. But again, it's no big deal. There's a grocery store nearby. Sounds good. Just don't have to plan too far in advance if you have a big family like mine. The pool is extraordinary!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches . We had a great time with the family!!!

Lovely, and peaceful overnight stay. Well equipped, clean and cozy. Very comfortable bed. Spacious and lots of natural lighting. This is definitely a place I would rebook when back in the area.

Wow!!! What can I say, unfortunately there is no 10 stars to rate this place and Courtenay. She has done such a fantastic job, we arrived there was water in the fridge and milk, fresh cookies and local caramels from Lure!! I felt like it was my birthday. Beautiful little notes left for us all to welcoming us to the property. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s around the world and in Nova Scotia and these guys knocked it out of the park. I need to go and re-review previous properties to make the level of service, support and quality of the accommodation make sense. This is beyond 5 stars and actually deliver so well so thoughtfully that I would not want to stay anywhere else. Amazing location, sunrise and sunset were just beautiful over the ocean. Tucked away but still close for groceries or nipping into Halifax. Courtenay was super responsive but honestly everything is there so no need to ask for anything. Tea, coffee, everything you need other than main groceries was a big help.

My sister and I treated each other to a holiday sleepover in the woods and it was perfect. The sauna was the best part, but everything was lovely. Will absolutely come back.

This location is amazing. Right on the lake. Lots of things to do: swim, kayak, canoe etc. we brought our two you kids and they had the best time. Sunrise/sets are perfect. Highly recommend to anyone. Our dog also enjoyed the location and the lake! We will be back. Michael was also very responsive and helpful!

Our extended family with 3 toddlers rented the two unit residence. It was immaculate and Natasha was so easy to get hold of for questions etc. The homes are so comfortable and well equipped, we lacked for nothing. With toddlers it was wonderful having the washer/dryer available. The area is so beautiful with lots to do for young and older alike. We will be back again.

Our big extended family has dreamed of all being under one roof for get togethers, but had never been able to find a spot that would comfortably sleep >20 people. This large farmhouse fit the bill and then some. It was the perfect spot to host a special birthday. I was met by Corey for a tour on arrival. He was warm and welcoming. The large, well-equipped kitchen and dining made meals a breeze. The three large living rooms meant we could all be together when we wanted to, but could break up into smaller groups too. And each of the large bedrooms/bathrooms meant private space for each smaller family unit. We hope to stay again!!

I had a fantastic stay at ken’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and in a great location. Ken was a wonderful host, very responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend this place!

Everything from booking, communications, and special requests to our 3 night stay was easy and enjoyable. Nicholy was always responsive and accommodating. The house was lovely and spacious with ample space for two couples and two singles (two full baths were a real bonus). The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed to enjoy cooking our meals over the three days we were there. We really appreciated the extras like spices, coffee, sugar, etc. that you don't often see at AirBnB's. The main road is busy but it didn't bother us as traffic seemed to quiet down by suppertime. All in all, Nicholy's house is now one of my favourite places that I've stayed in over the years! Thanks Nicholy!

It is a beautiful home with a beautiful view. Our stay for the weekend was extremely comfortable and felt like home. Made our trip very enjoyable and Marina is very kind and responsive. The space is large, and the office space was perfect to work from over the weekend. Would 10/10 book again!

This was our second extended stay at Francois's, and just like the first, his hospitality, the location, and the lovely property exceeded our expectations and made us feel right at home. Francois was a wonderful host, quick to communicate and extremely helpful. The home was spotless and well appointed and modern. The property is Serene and peaceful for anyone looking to get away from the city while avoiding a lengthy trip. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day!

We had a great stay and would definitely return!

This is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. Perfect for all couples, but be mindful of steep stairs; 9 steps. Great rooms and a superb bathroom! Smart TV with Netflix, Prime and amazing surround sound! The property is peaceful and very private, with large garden. Outside BBQ and pizza oven would make great summer evenings. Our September stay meant cool evenings, but the superb modern kitchen made us feel home from home. Just Perfect! Thoroughly recommended!!

What wonderful accomodations featuring serene and beautiful pastural surroundings set right in the heart of wine country. The sound of the Gaspereau River running below lulled us to sleep each night, the large balcony, huge windows and pristine hot tub right beside the river all added to a great experience. No expense has been spared in the interior finishes of the property and the carefully curated furnishings and interior decor reflect both the rural locale and pride of ownership. Truly a special spot!!
