Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

The Views “The Penthouse" is a modern studio apartment in the centre of Keswick just off the Market Square. A parking permit is included allowing FREE use of the town car parks. It is on the top floor (that's why we call it The Penthouse) giving amazing 270 degree views over the roof tops of the surrounding mountains. From the living room there are outstanding views over the town and of Skiddaw and Latrigg. And of Derwentwater, Borrowdale Valley and the surrounding mountains from the kitchen.

Beautiful recently refusbished one bedroom apartment, conveniently located right in the centre of Keswick with private off street parking. The apartment consists of a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room including a log burner and smart TV. There is a double bedroom and a separate bathroom with a large enclosure power shower. You could not be more conveniently located to access all that Keswick has to offer, everything is within very easy walking distance... enjoy!
