Monthly Rentals in Kikaijima

Very friendly and responsive host, I stayed a couple nights and enjoyed having a kitchen as a vegetarian. It's cost friendly for a single person too, which was much appreciated. The unit is a studio with a kitchen, and a separate (shared) toilet and separate (shared) shower area. - Be warned, the shower room is dated and hasn't had a deep cleaning in a bit, but very functional. The local bathhouse will probably be more enjoyable, but I was lazy and used the shower during my stay. - The toilet looks newly renovated/constructed. - The studio is clean and well equipped. Beds are firm but you could probably double up on the mats to make it softer. The studio unit is pretty spacious too. There are also many experiences offered along with the stay (just book with the host), such as local cuisine cooking, martial arts, boating trips, driving drop offs, etc. They also have free bike rental, though I didn't use it.

As a graduation trip for the children, I stayed with the Mermaid for the second time. The location was as good as last time, and it was cold, but the kids had a great time swimming, looking for creatures, and BBQing on the private beach in front of the house. There are no restaurants nearby, so when we went to eat, we took a taxi, but we were looking forward to it, so we had a full time for 3 nights and 4 days. No matter how many times you visit, it is a place where you can feel healing.

They were very kind and accommodating, and I had a comfortable stay.I would like to visit again.

Due to the nature of Airbnb, there was no in-person communication, but everything from preparing amenities to setting up furniture was full of hospitality.This was exactly what I imagined.I was only worried that I would not be able to stay because it was too popular.
