Our hostel Fuchs und Hase is located in Oberjugel, a scattered settlement belonging to Johanngeorgenstadt, directly on the border with the Czech Republic. At an altitude of 850 m, pure nature, tranquility, unadulterated mountain meadows and many hiking and cycling trails await you. In winter, the Jugelloipe starts right behind the house with connection to the Kammloipe and Czech ski highway. Several ski slopes can be reached quickly by car. We are happy to provide tips.

Whether family celebration, vacation or accommodation to be at work faster - our granny annex is perfectly located to be in Zwickau, Chemnitz or the Ore Mountains quickly. As a starting point for hiking and skiing, it is a good alternative to the hotel. It´s an ideal start for walking, bicycle or skiing tours in the beautiful Ore Mountains.

As a former Royal Saxon Bobbin School and later branch of the Academy of Fine Arts, the building is now privately owned and is inhabited by us as the owner and family with 4 children.
