This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Spacious, family-friendly house (200 m²) on the Walenstadtberg with a fantastic view of the Swiss mountains and the valley. The entire house is exclusively available to our guests. Eight individually designed bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a cosy lounge, a terrace, a private fitness room and a sauna ensure a relaxing stay. Ideal for families, groups and friends. Booking for at least three paying persons.

Me Time Apartment in the countryside

Sit back and relax in this quiet, stylish place. The apartment is located in the host family's house. It is on a farm with mother cows, Duroc pigs and various small animals. There is also a very stylish farm shop run by the host family. There are products from our own farm. In the village (1.5 km) there are more shopping opportunities There is the possibility to use the washing machine and dryer. They are in the basement.

Vegetarian vacation home with charm

The vacation home is in a quiet location. On the ground floor there are spacious lounges with a terrace facing east. Please note that the house can only be used vegetarian. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms, whereby one bedroom is a passageway for the bedroom behind it. The wooden house is cozily furnished with wooden furniture and has everything you need for a nice stay. Games available for all ages.

From your vacation home you have a direct view of the Säntis. Nearby you will find picturesque hiking trails and small farms offering regional products. In winter, the landscape invites you on beautiful snowshoe hikes. This vacation home is the ideal retreat for families or friends who want to enjoy tranquility, nature and comfort in perfect harmony. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere and unwind.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the fireplace, and cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, a dormitory is also available in the barn, e.g. for families. A kitchen is available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

Very good starting point for excursions to nearby Toggenburg or St. Gallen / Zurich. Highway can be reached in 12 minutes. Beautiful terrace to linger with seating and views of the countryside.
