Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kitasaku District

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

It was a great place to stay. As the name suggests, looking at the forest from the large window, there was a very open window, and we had a relaxing time looking at the wonderful forest. I definitely recommend it to you when you come.

We had a full holiday in a very beautiful space. The children were also playing well. I was able to politely answer questions, so I was prepared with peace of mind.

The location was also very good, and it was a great charm to be able to walk to the symbol "Yubatake", the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen. Also, the owner was very kind and pleasant. The only thing that was unfortunate was that the stairs upstairs felt a little unstable and unsafe.So we barely used the second floor.In the future, if it is improved to a solid staircase with grab bars, you can also use the nice relaxing space on the second floor with peace of mind. Overall, we had a very wonderful stay.We'd love to come back if we get the chance.Thank you very much.

This was our second time at Yaeko-san's, and we highly recommend it! It is quite clean with a hot shower and comfortable futons. Yaeko-san is a kind host, and she leaves thoughtful touches throughout the space. We love exploring tohges, and this spot is central to quite a few of them. We look forward to our next trip, knowing this is a clean, comfortable lodging!

We loved it. The house is huge, well equipped and everything was clean. You do need a car but it’s easy to get around. Ryo communicated extremely well (in English) and gave great recommandations. We would go back again.

I overlooked the email confirming the check-in time and didn't communicate the check-in time, but thank you for taking care of it as soon as I arrived. The trailer house was very comfortable and we were able to relax with three parents and children.It was also helpful to prepare breakfast. It was one of the memories of a pleasant trip.Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful villa that far exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tastefully arranged, and the facilities, including the kitchen and bathroom, were perfect. I highly recommend it to groups that especially like BBQ and cooking. Also, the spacious living room and comfortable bedroom were very cozy, and I was able to relax as if I were at home. The garden and surrounding environment were also attractive, and we had a really special time during our stay. The owner and host are very kind, and I'd love to stay again! I highly recommend it!

It was my third visit. Access to old Karuizawa, the tranquility of the surroundings, and the environment as an accommodation all the time satisfy what I and my family want. Also, I can always get in touch quickly with the host, and I don't have to worry about anything. I recommend using it once when you go out to Karuizawa.

It was a valuable time for the kids to spend in a good old building.

Masaya's Airbnb was exactly as described in the photos. The location was quiet and very close to multiple restaurants and points of interest. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese style place to stay, this is it.

Great place to stay! The host's husband and wife responded quickly and allowed us to hang out with recommended spots and goats and pigs! In addition to the couple's personality, the accommodation with both playfulness and comfort was not enough in a day! I don't use the sauna this time, but the sauna is also great, and the barbecue house was a great dinner with an authentic stove! For shopping, etc., we encourage you to visit during the day in the city while it's bright!There were many narrow roads, and it was a short drive by a regular car! I recommend this place where you can combine with nature and digital detox!

Typical Japanese flat floor with a sense of history, very spacious room, many rooms, suitable for everyone.You can grill, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are many toys for the kids, and there is a large field behind the house with a good view.The host is American and more enthusiastic.The shortage is close to the road, of course, there are not many road cars in the countryside, I don't know if the electricity load is too large, and the power is cut several times, although it was restarted in about ten seconds.

Everything was satisfactory except the bathroom was a little uncomfortable. It is an emotional house with a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds and blankets were fluffy and warm. I loved sitting and drinking coffee in the morning. Can't wait to come back someday!

I stayed here to focus on some work on my laptop, and it was perfect — super quiet and private, with almost no one around. There weren’t any supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, which was a bit inconvenient, but it wouldn’t have been a problem if I had a car. Since it’s pretty deep in the mountains, next time I’d like to come with a car or a bike! The Wi-Fi was great too — I got 76Mbps download speed on the Fast speed test, so everything ran really smoothly. I’d definitely come back! 🫶❤️✨

Nice and quiet place. The lodge had all necessary amenities and then some - you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it. The host was responsive and ready to care for guests’ needs.
