This guesthouse is attached to our private shop behind our home. We love our long summer days and the midnight sun and stay busy with a greenhouse and garden. We have 3 kids ages 14, 12, & 11. We are around unless out of town on our own adventure! Watch for free range chickens, wild bunnies, and an occasional moose or two. Welcome!

We are far enough from town to be surrounded by nature with frequent moose visits & exceptional northern lights, while still fairly close to restaurants and shopping (30 min). Some great local activities are heli rides, snowmachine expeditions, hiking and much more!

Ron’s Knik Glacier Views is a brand-new private guest suite with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and River. Includes 120-acres of Alaskan wilderness with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, sleeps 6. The accommodations include a walk out, wrap-around balcony. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. The home is crafted to provide you with over 420 Sq Feet of carefully planned space offering a fully functional kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a custom tiled shower. It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub.

"Into The Wild" Magic Bus

The Magic Bus is inspired by the bus from the "Into The Wild" movie. Located in the woods with comfortable beds, linen and electricity, but only 200 feet from a full bathroom and other facilities. You can watch wildlife straight from the windows! Come stay in our multicultural and multi-language glamping site by the beautiful Knik river, close to all the great attractions of the area. We believe that traveling to Alaska should be not only comfortable but also memorable!

It is outfitted with arctic grade insulation, WIFi, heat, kitchenette, breakfast table, and accommodates 4 guests comfortably, year round. Includes well-lit private driveway and parking, fully-stocked kitchenware, hot-water sink, refrigerator & freezer, coffee pot, and bake oven. Private outhouse steps away / No shower or bath. Pets are welcome.

It has a large great room with a spacious kitchen and dining area on one side and a living area on the other. This cabin has beautiful views of Pioneer Peak and surrounding mountains. It's very close to many recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, fishing, 4 wheeling etc. It's 40 minutes from Anchorage. Washer and dryer in cabin. No pets please.
