I was one of the carvers at the annual Chainsaw Carving Rendezvous and truly appreciated how close this home was to the carving site. After a long day surrounded by chainsaws, it was a relief to return to such a quiet and peaceful location. The house is in a calm area that made it easy to unwind and recharge. The host was kind, professional, and quick to respond with clear directions and communication. The house itself was very comfortable and, after a few days, genuinely felt like coming home. I’m already looking forward to staying here again next year!

We had a great experience with our recent stay at Jamie’s house in Gibsonia. There were very detailed instructions for check in, and all the rooms were super clean when we arrived. The house was very spacious, and the rooms were even bigger than they looked in photos. Both the inside and outside were updated, and everything was really nice and modern. Overall had a great experience, and would rent again.

This was our second stay as a group, coming up to celebrate a special event for a local family member, and already booked for our next stay and we even extended that stay. We, all 6 of us, couldn’t be more pleased with Sue’s place. It rained the entire weekend but that did not put a damper on our stay. The amenities, the cleanliness, the comfort and those views. Wow!!! Sue thought of everything one could possible need, even a hot tub (bring your suit)!! Whether you come to relax or come to explore, come for a quick stop or a long stay, Sue and her retreat has you covered.

Our stay at Robin’s Boone Mtn home was great! We instantly felt right at home and comfortable. She supplied us with a case of bottled water and a variety of K-cups which made us feel very welcomed! The home was spotless and very comfortable. A great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors and sightings of local wildlife…we had visits from lots of whitetail deer, turkeys, and nightly serenades from barred owls. Robin provided brochures and info about area activities and places to explore. Her instructions with directions to the place and how to get into the home were spot on and very helpful! The home was stocked with anything you could need. We were visiting to go to the Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous in Ridgway and were not disappointed. Awesome event! We also thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the Brew Bank and tastings from several local breweries, wineries, and distilleries. So much to do, so little time!
