Endless Ionian Breezes at a House on the Island of Ithaca

Lounge on a hillside terrace with sea views as the refreshing sea breeze is flowing all day long. In the evening air carries the scent of jasmine and honeysuckle. A serene atmosphere continues indoors with potted plants, elegant built-in furnishings, and tasteful decor in muted earth tones. Lighting and other details complete the serenity. The house has an airy relaxed ambiance, combining modern architecture with traditional elements. You can enjoy high quality materials, high ceilings, playful light and fine linen. A bluetooth speaker is available to enjoy your favourite music from your computer. Bedrooms have bathrooms en suite. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and espresso coffee machine is provided. A built stone BBQ is available for use. For the colder months, there is a pellet stove along with electric blankets that give it a warm feeling. You have access to our own home grown vegetable garden, according to the season of course. I am available at all times for any assistance required. Though the island of Ithaki is small, it has many hidden treasures. It is my pleasure to help you explore them. Any holiday related services, like rentals or bookings can be arranged upon request. Ithaki island is a quite and rather intimate place with lots of treasures to discover. The house is in the village of Ag. Saranta, a traditional settlement in the northern part, overlooking Afales Bay. The beach nearby with amazing water is 5 min drive away. The village of Stavros, with all amenities, and the fishing village of Frikes are both 1.5 kilometers away. Unfortunately, there is no public transport in Ithaki. Hiring a car is highly advisable Access to Ithaki is via Cephalonia, Patra, Astakos and in the summer months from Lefkas as well.

Near the house (5 minutes) is Agios Nikita's village where you can find beachfront restaurants, bars and shops.The Villa consists of a ground floor with kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms with 3 on-suite bathrooms. Also outside you can find a private pool, barbecue and a comfortable area to relax and having a panoramic view to the blue waters of the Ionian Sea.

De villa heeft een eigen toegangsweg met poort. De begane grond heeft een volledig ingerichte keuken en een eetkamertafel voor 8 personen, een woonkamer met open haard en een gastentoilet. Op de begane grond zijn 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer met ligbad. Via een trap naar boven bereik je de andere 2 slaapkamers; ieder met een eigen badkamer met douche en toilet. Iedere slaapkamer heeft een eigen terras met een zitje. Halverwege de week wordt de villa schoongemaakt en het bedlinnen verwisseld.

The Villa is located in Lefkada island 15 min driving distance from the main city and 2 min by car from the famous beach Kathisma. The main house is white-washed with a pergola next to the pool (6.00x3.00)m 1.45 depth, a private parking and garden. On the ground floor there is an open-plan sitting/dinning/kitchen area with one bedroom and one bathroom. Upstairs there is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a second with a smaller bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals.
