Dear Guests, A warm welcome to Pfaffendorf, situated amidst the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and close to the Saxon Switzerland and Bohemian Switzerland National Parks. The 7th stage of the *Malerweg* hiking trail passes directly by the house. This cozy and spacious holiday apartment (55 sq m) is located on the ground floor of a house (built in 1900) in the district of Pfaffendorf. Amenities include a dedicated parking space, a private guest terrace in the courtyard, and secure high-speed Wi-Fi.

The Markthaus is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic Malerweg. The vaulted cellar and foundation walls date back to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a rest stop, post office and inn. In 1850, a massive extension was built in the classicist style. Röhringer ran the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

A comfortable and family-friendly apartment with kitchen, bedroom and shower and toilet awaits you. The apartment can accommodate 2 people. In addition, there are 2 extra bed options. A travel cot for infants is available. The rooms are painted with natural colours and the wooden floors are treated with natural wax and are therefore particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. Our apartment, renovated in the style of the period of rapid industrial growth in Germany, is located in the middle of the silk flower city of Sebnitz. With 75 m², it offers space. In Sebnitz, everything is within walking distance and the bus station is only 300 meters away. Great hiking trails start very close by.

Our cozy apartment in a quiet location is on the first floor of our house. The fabulous hiking world of Saxon Switzerland begins right on our doorstep. For example, you can walk to the over 240 meter high Königstein Fortress in just 30 minutes. Day trips to Dresden and Prague are easily possible.
