Waterfront holiday rentals in Koundouros

We stayed with our family and used three bedrooms. Bed linen and pillows are lovely, the mattresses are a little worse, but this is individual. We especially appreciated the set of plates, we love the beautifully set tables). Nice furniture, absolutely wonderful terrace, there are necessary items. We were a little confused by the thin walls - you could hear the water being flushed in the neighboring rooms... and yes, the absolutely beautiful sea, a clean, sandy beach, suitable for both adults and children. The apartment is located in a complex elevated by the sea, beautiful bay. The system is beautifully planted with small paths. Cats living there are very sweet. The service is really excellent. We received clear instructions upon arrival and daily helpful links for restaurants and sightseeing. always happy to come back!

What can you say about this spotless apartment located in the heart of the island , is equipped with all the essentials, and much more than you could ask for! It's just 3 minutes from the port and all the shops you'll need for breakfasts , food , cafes, mini markets , bars, etc … Simos had taken care of everything is an amazing host and very helpful so we don't miss anything …The house is made and decorated with a lot of care keeping the traditional element of the island, it's all new in the house , we had a great time . We will definitely visit it again soon!!! Thanks for everything, keep it up!!!

The location is remote but has good facilities nearby, a fantastic restaurant (Arias) about 100m away serving the best seafood I’ve had outside of the UK! Not a large restaurant and has a very exclusive feel to it Equally a nice walk around the other bay, we found a few restaurants and taverna’s - our favourite was Sofrano’s The room isn’t big, but it’s well equipped and comfortable for the 4 night stay we had, and Nikos was very helpful for the few questions we had. Aircon works perfectly and much needed respite from the 35+ heat. The terrace was perfect for sunbathing and is also shaded so easy to get a break from direct sunlight Comfortable bed and nice sheets Lovely neighbours in the main house (I assume this is Nikos’ family), Poppy treated us to a salad lunch one day unexpectedly, including fish caught from the bay at the bottom of the steps! Delicious - thank you! Cannot wait to return for another stay in the future. Highly recommended Would definitely stay again

Beautiful location with direct sea access, even more beautiful live than the pictures. Inside, the accommodation is a bit outdated and it is definitely designed to spend time on the beautiful terrace and by the sea. Maria was perfect from A to Z. Overall a recommendation!

We (5 guys from Germany) had a wonderful week with the best host we've ever had. She and her family stood by us with advice and even brought us food. The apartment is very nice and the view from the huge terrace over the sea is breathtaking. Apart, it lies directly at the beach despite its secluded location. Who doesn't book the apartment is missing something

Great place to relax with a group of friends or with family. Very close to the beach and many nice restaurants. Despina is a wonderful host!

The house is right above the sea in a wonderful bay with a sandy beach and a few steps from a great local taverna. We really enjoyed and relaxed during our vacation there. The terrace is stunning - the interior gets a bit warm towards the end of the day.

Nicky's place was great for us (4 adults, 3 kids under 7). Spacious and clean, and Nicky was helpful all the way. She made the baby cot ready for us which made our stay comfortable with a 4 months old. The sea is just down a few stairs from the flat, and although it might not be suitable for small children, it's a great way to get a dip in for the adults. You have to drive a few minutes to get to restaurants and supermarkets, but a few places nearby also delivers, so you'll be sorted out just fine.

Kiki was great. Very friendly, welcoming. Sunset is amazing, swimming with sea views is a great experience. Lots of beautiful little beaches nearby within a 5-minute drive or even walk! Including a small cove at the bottom of the house where you can swim early in the morning or in the evening before the aperitif! We loved this stay! We recommend the house.

What can we say about this stay!!!! The property is in a great location with breathtaking views where you can enjoy great sunsets. The place IS amazing!!!! Everywhere you notice a simple luxury and you understand how taste every object has been placed inside the space. The owners have given their best!!! And amenities are beyond expectations. The house is great. Clean and very well supplied. Great terrace with sea view at both sides. Very near (1 min) to the beach with very good restaurant.

The stay was very nice and went smoothly. Communication with Cosima was very pleasant and she was always there for you if you had any questions. In advance, she gave us a lot of helpful information such as the bus plan, taxi numbers and restaurant tips. The accommodation is beautiful and located directly on the sea and offers everything you could want for a small group of travelers. The location is a bit remote,but three times a day a bus goes to the next town, or you can take a taxi, which is also not so expensive. A small tavern is within walking distance, as well as the Poseidon Temple from which the bus to Athens also leaves.

This was a lovely stay close to the water and the communication with Cosima was very easy and clear.

A quite perfect AirBnb. The views and location are incredible. Walkable from the ferry and surrounded by good restaurants/bars. Would highly recommend.
