In the immediate vicinity is the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried Nature Reserve, the second largest moor area in southwestern Germany. This natural experience is within walking distance and offers the opportunity to participate in various guided tours. The area offers numerous hiking and biking trails, natural swimming lakes and a variety of gastronomy.

From the living room and balcony you have a magnificent view of meadows, forest and fields, where chamois, fox and rabbit still say good night. A bike path runs right past the house. The Upper Danube Valley, Lake Constance, and the Swabian Alb are between 10 and 30 minutes away by car.

A place to switch off and relax. For extended hikes you do not need a car: the small residential area connects directly to large forest areas. By (e-)bike, 5 (bathing) lakes can be reached within 2.5 hours. Lake Constance or the Danube can be reached by car in 30 minutes. Or you can simply enjoy the garden of the lovingly renovated log cabin and take time for thoughtful walks...
