The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The family-friendly and spacious apartment is quietly located between Feldberg and Schluchsee in the spa town of Menzenschwand and was completed in 2024. Rustic 1.5 room apartment in an old country house

The apartment with separate entrance is in the lower part of my beautiful farmhouse. It is perfect located, a 5-minute walk away from the Rhine, 20 minutes by car from Zurich Airport or 30 minutes by car from Zurich Central Station. The nearest S-Bahn station can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The apartment is perfect for nature-loving singles and couples. Swimming fun in the Rhine is guaranteed during the summer.

The slightly different room

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Ideal for a relaxing overnight stay after a strenuous hike or bike ride. However, the really small room is not suitable for a longer stay as there is no TV or a comfortable sofa. The spacious double bed is right at the entrance and fills almost the entire room (see pictures)
